I normally don’t write reviews, but my experience with this company has been One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We used Thumbtack to check out a water leaking from our ceiling. This company reached out to me. I informed them of the situation that we just want to have a contractor come check out and repair the leak that’s coming from the ceiling. They said they can have a contractor come out ASAP, but we would have to contact our insurance company because they deal directly with the insurance company. I was a little confused But they assured me that we wouldn’t have to deal with anything. They said they would talk to the insurance company connect with the contractor to open the ceiling find out where the water is coming from, stop the water leakage and repair the ceiling. They assured us that we wouldn’t have to do anything. We went with their company, and signed a contract. They had a contractor come and open the ceiling and lay down fans and tarps. The Contractor recommended we get a plumber to come and locate the leak, we were confused because we thought he was going to check where the leak was coming from. We found out from looking at the contract we signed that the company we hired was a Claims Adjustment Company, they never verbally stated that. Our insurance paid out for the repairs but it went directly to the Adjustment Company and they took their percentage out and sent us the rest via check. We tried contacting them numerous times, but after they got paid, we never heard back from them, they never sent out another contractor to repair the hole or find out where the water was leaking from. Now we are stuck trying to find another contractor to repair the hole and take care of the leak. We take full responsibility for not looking at the contract before signing, but we highly recommend you Do Not use this company do not go through any claim Adjustment Company.

Paying a Claims Adjustment Company is not needed you can work directly with the insurance company. It’s a waste of time and money using this company or any Claims Adjustment Company

Tim and his team from Capital Adjustment Gets you top dollar. They Worked diligently with the insurance company to get my money ASAP after my fire. They walked me through the process step by step. They had very good skills and knowledge and were able to do the job in a respectable amount of time. They were also very professional and attentive to what they were doing. If you have a fire you should always have the right people. I would 100% choose this company again if I had too.
