I began working with Brendan from Capture Accounting in March of last year and I have only good things to say about my experience so far.

I had been running an online course business as a UK sole trader for years and I experienced massive growth towards the end of 2023.

Soon after, I realised that my high street accountant who I'd only speak to once per year to handle my self assessment tax return wasn't going to cut it anymore.

I needed a much more hands-on approach for my bookkeeping and I specifically needed help with a things like accounting for EU VAT and switching from sole trader to Ltd company.

I also moved away from the UK last year and so I required assistance with figuring out a tax efficient solution for paying myself from my UK-based company whilst living overseas.

Brendan has been exceptionally helpful in guiding me through all of this.

Is it more expensive working with an accountancy firm like this, compared to a high street accountant? Yes 100%. But if you're running an online business and are generating 6-figures+ annually, it's a no-brainer decision.

I've been meaning to write this review for months and I finally got around to doing it today when I saw how much Brendan had been able to reduce my payments on account down to.

Now before I begin while I don’t typically blame my disability, my Autism greatly affects my ability to comprehend and understand things and before Brendan reached out to me my tax affairs were in a mess! I was originally a bricklayer and transitioned to a full time YouTuber in 2023 when my channel was growing by the millions each month and is now currently sitting at over 10 Million subcscribers

I had no real idea about income tax as previously it was taxed at source and I’d hand my payslip to my original accountant end of year to sort and that was it so this was all new to me. Myself and my original accountant were in unknown territory given this was all online with the income coming from America so everything was a can we or can’t we type scenario and I for one was quite stressed especially when my first tax bill was calculated.

Now this is where Brendan came in, he reached out to me and confidently explained what I should be claiming how I should be running things and within one meeting fully convinced me to part ways with my previous accountant and to join capture once he explained all the benefits

Within the first week they set up a Limited company for me alongside the necessary accounting software explained the process thoroughly and helped me sort out my previous tax affairs to bring the big scary bill down by quite a large sum and set up a plan for me so I can achieve my goal of financial freedom within 10 years

Now today I can proudly say my stress levels have been reduced significantly, the price is absolutely fair, it’s all mostly automated so all I have to do on my end is just simply upload receipts and Capture handle the rest, I now know exactly what I’m doing and can wholeheartedly say it’s all thanks to Brendan and the team at capture

So if you’re on the fence or unsure and looking for a team who know what they’re doing then take my advice and go with Capture and I promise you will not regret it!
