So bad I feel like I’ve been scammed.
Took out a plan for minor damage repair which was offered by Eden car dealership.
Claimed for minor damaged and agreed by Car Care that it met their conditions.
Technician arrived but said he couldn’t perform adequate repair. On same day Car Care emailed to state that cosmetic repair did not meet conditions of the plan due to dent more than 3mm deep.
(Note The technician did measure the ‘slight indentation’ when he was there)
I replied by email to dispute this but received no reply.
Using a link to Trust Pilot sent to me by Car Care Plan I tried to leave a less than favourable review but when trying to submit the review the page could no longer be found!
Make up your own mind….. I know I have!

Don’t waste your money, it is like you are throwing away your hard earned cash. They will find any excuse not to approve your claim. I had two small scuff on my front bumper, they measured the distance between the damages (less than 30cm diameter) and there was a small scuff from a parking which they added to this one which makes the distance between the two damages to 31cm diameter. The total damage are is much less than 30cm. I have raised my complaint to ombudsman.

Service has been ok . I broke down and used my breakdown cover, Burke brothers came and recovered us, excellent service and a very polite lad took us home. My grievance is when you try and hire a car, stated in my policy, when I call to hide the car they questioned how long my car would be away even though I'd spoken to the garage, it was going to be up to 7 days as they were waiting for parts, they refuse to hire it for the 7 days but would hire it for three with a view to extend it if my car wasn't going to be ready, I called them this morning to inform them it would need extending for a further two days only to be told by their representative that they would not cover it for a further two days as the delay in repair was not their fault. I stated what it said in my handbook that the car would be hired for the entirety of the repairs for him to say no no I was wrong. He eventually apologized and after a long wait they've extended it for 2 days. I suggest their representatives want to learn some manners and don't be so rude. If I choose a warranty plan again, it's doubtful it will be car care plan. This is the first time I've ever left what I'd class is a bad review and I don't like doing it. They seriously need to train their staff at the call centers because accusing a customer that they are wrong, when I've got it in black and white in front of me is not good. Hopefully if they read this it will have a positive outcome and they may learn something.

I was told that I needed to upgrade my warranty to cover a claim because the cost of the claim was more than the warranty covered. I paid £306 to do this and was assured the claim would be covered.
Within 2 days the claim had been rejected again because the fault was the subject of a technical bulletin from the manufacturer.
It's difficult not to believe that the company just wanted my money and never intended to cover the claim.

Insurance sold by Mercedes for bodywork and to protect my alloys was not worth the paper it was written on. The look for the tiniest wear and tear mark to get out of it. One was actually bird poop! Don't be suckered in they are rubbish

One star is far too much for this company. After 4 months of chasing up my warranty they have called today after the investigation and can't offer me a warranty on my vehicle. Don't waste you money and go an source your warranty elsewhere. Terrible customer care and do not honour what was said on the phone.

Scam body repair insurance sold to us for just under £800 with the brand new Landrover Discovery. Be watchfulness of the sales techniques at the heat of the moment. The product was promised "Unlimited" "SmartGuard" for bodywork dents and scratches. The assessment and repair was promised to be "unlimited" from the comfort of your "own home". When we claimed for minor bodywork repair we received no visit or even a phone call, only rejection of the claim! see their product offer document and pictures of the damages. Landrover, Car Care Plan Ltd and two other companies are in the chain of this service and imagine how easy it is to argue your case.

Abysmal company !!! Stay well clear !!! I've had a reconditioned engine fitted into a car I purchased in July 2022. This company insisted on using a reconditioned engine, which after a couple of months started making a cackling noise and caused the engine management light to come on. They are making the garage where the car is being worked on, jump through hoops by means of different test etc, to basically find a way out of replacing the engine or paying for any work that needs carrying out. They also now want the engine to be dropped out of the car, to be sent back to the company they purchased it from for investigation, but at my expense. I have a funny feeling the engine could come back and either be fixed or found to have no issues. I'll then be lumbered with a huge bill for the initial removal of the engine and then the refitting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!
