I started lt ME-IR and CPL in April 2023 at Tatenhill with Craig, Rich and Alan. It took me 6 months to do all my training while working full time. I could not genuinely reccomend CFT more to anybody. I have had such a positive experience throughout and I fully understand why they have the reputation they do! There is a bit of a wait to get in but I can assure its fully worth it as I couldnt have picked a better place to complete the remainder of my flight training.

Craig, Rich, Alan thanks for making a very busy time one of the most enjoyable things I have ever done! Ill defo be back for my FI hopefully not too distant future!

Central Flight Training is an outstanding professional flight school / training establishment. With three highly experienced professional flight instructors, the training they provide is specific to your individual requirements rather than having specific set lessons - you will focus on weak areas to improve what needs to be improved. You get bespoke training which larger schools simply cannot provide. You will have one instructor for the whole of your training, who is fully aware of your abilities rather than several instructors who aren't fully aware of your particular needs. They provide cost effective training, are very professional and exceptionally knowledgeable in their field. I will always return to them for my rating revalidations as I know many past students will also - due to the high standards instruction. They are also excellently located for access to many airports for different approaches as required by your training.

I have renewed my PPL Twin and IR rating with Craig and his team - Stuart and Alan - for 5 years. They are a thoroughly professional organisation who maintain the highest standards. Their approach is friendly, and they will put you at your ease. However, they expect you to be a well-prepared and motivated pilot: a professional, like them. Their briefings are thorough, unhurried and comprehensive - both before and after the sessions. Safety is their main concern. They all teach well, and the depth of knowledge is profound. They know your time and money are precious, and will waste neither. They use well-maintained aircraft. I recommend them unhesitatingly.

Completed my MEP and revalidated my IR with Alan and Craig. Brilliant instructors/ examiners, good BE76, they managed to get my course reduced by the CAA which saved me a small fortune too so certainly not in the business of ripping pilots off! Won't be going anywhere else from now on.
