THEY ARE BENT STAY WELL AWAY THEY TRY AND SCREW YOU, THEY DO NOT PAY CLAIMS AND THEY DO NOT PAY RETURN PREMIUMS DUE TO YOU I received a telephone call from them in early 2017 asking if I required self drive hire motor insurance and I explained to them that my existing policy did not expire until November and I would speak to them then.
Just before my existing policy expired I contacted them for a quotation on 5 vehicles and they came back to me with a figure of £760 per vehicle on 5 vehicles which excluded IPT and finance charges. They confirmed everything in writing (I still have the paperwork ) and I accepted their quote.. Within 2 days of me taking out the policy I received an e mail from them saying that they had received an email from their under writer saying that there was simply not enough premium on 5 vehicles and I would be charged for 10. I explained to them that I only ever asked for cover on 5 vehicles and that was all my obligations to pay for were, and they admitted that they had quoted for 5 vehicles genuinely thinking that the underwriter would entertain cover on that number of vehicles, but they were wrong, and as the policy had commenced and if I did not want to continue with the policy I would have to pay a termination fee of £1000.Two days later I rang them back to tell them I was going back to my old insurer and would require claims history for the time I had been on cover with them, they then said that due to their mistake, and to avoid adverse feedback they would honour their original agreement of covering me for 5 vehicles and any charges and payments made over and above that number of vehicles would be recalculated and refunded to me after I had been with them for 3 months , to avoid paying termination charges I agreed to this , but no refund has ever been given to me almost 9 months later .I have over paid them giving £6750 towards a 12 month period of insurance which , based on 5 vehicles should of cost no more than £4500, however they e mailed me on the 8th of may to say the under writers were bankrupt and my vehicles no longer had insurance cover, and I would be charged £2225 for the 6 months I had used them, leaving a refund of £4525 DUE TO ME BUT NO REFUND HAS EVER BEEN MADE.As well as that there is a claim due to me of £1650 for a claim for my own car which was insured comprehensively with them , I was promised by them a cheque was on its way to me back in February 2018 and still have not received it.They are BENT AND SHOULD NOT BE TRADING . The only reason I leave a 1 star is because there is no provision for a non star.
