I’ve had dog walking and house sitting insurance for my business since I began 16 years ago. Always a pleasure to deal with. An actual human at the end of the phone. I’ve never had to claim but get the impression it would be done properly. Will never go elsewhere and have recommended to so many people who I’ve met starting new dog walking/boarding and house sitting businesses. A very traditional insurance company to deal with. For example: no annoying call menus to navigate your way through. You ring and somebody answers you and helps you. So many other insurance companies abandoned these core business values years ago. It is an absolute pleasure to find at least one out there that hasn’t. I’ve never made a claim in all the years I’ve been with them, so I can’t review them on how they deal with those, but I am as confident as I can be that if I did have to make a claim, then I would be dealt with fairly and professionally.

Just had to make a claim with Cliverton and I was very impressed with the customer service and the speed in which they confirmed they would cover it (sent form away on Tuesday and the confirmation that they would pay out on Thursday) it was no hassle what so ever! Excellent company, flexible and helpful. When you call, the phone is immediately answered - by an actual person. Premiums are reasonable and cover seems to be designed to help you, not catch you out. Highly recommend
