If you could give less than 1 star this company would deserve it.

Had them try obtaining a debt for us but after loads of phone calls and texts they didn't know what we was on about and we had to chase the debt ourselves then had Sam trying to throw his weight around for something they never recovered.

Absolute shambles of a company and I would not recommend them one bit. Save yourself the hassle!

This company is a shambles - constantly emailing me a debt collection letters - I have asked them numerous times to remove my details from their records but they just ignore me - totally incompetent!! Avoid at all costs!!

I have replied on numerous occasions and it has even got to the point where you breaching the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 act, and failure to remove my records could result in a hefty fine! I suggest you re-look at your system and delete ALL my records and do not contact me further!

So far completely useless. Sent one debt for them to chase last November, and so far nothing. No responses to emails or phone messages. When I did actually manage to speak to someone a few weeks ago, nobody knew anything about the case (although I have a Case Reference number) and seemed to find it quite amusing. Needless to say, I didn't. Have had no replies to emails sent since then and no joy trying to speak to anyone. I will be contacting the Ombudsman and making a formal complaint. By the way, quite a coincidence that the surname on one of the good reviews is the same as one of the employees!

Owed a relatively small debt to a local veterinary practice. Passed to Collectas and set up a payment plan. Called every month on the 10th to make a payment but could never get through. Calls unanswered, emails ignored and then out of nowhere a payment is taken from my bank account. There was no DD or SO set up, and I had only given them my bank details on one occasion to make an initial payment over the phone. They had kept note of my bank details and have now taken 2 payments without my consent for varying amounts on random days. Have had to cancel cards, and veterinary practice say they can’t get hold of them either!

Be very wary off this company, they like to take money off you to ‘set up an account’ then never answer phone calls or emails. Sam and Danny are particularly rude and obnoxious- they still owe us money, which is probably never to be paid back!!
Whether they retrieved our money, we will never know as they are so incompetent!
Day light scum who prey on people that request their help!!

Fantastic company to deal with. Sam really cares about his clients and will always go the extra mile. The team have helped me on a couple of occasions with challenging clients who simply would not pay.

Sam and his colleagues were super nice to me while recovering my debt. I was in dout to wether collectas could recover my debt as lots of debt collectors were not successful, but Sam recovered the debt first time thanks sam👍🏻

We asked this company to collect a debt for us which has been done. We have contacted them and text on more than 10 occasions to ask where our money is and now we can't even get a reply or get through to anyone. I am reporting them to the financial ombudsman.
