Excellent service received from Collingwood. Had one of those little issues that frustratingly can't be resolved easily on a website. Carly was superb, informative and worked really hard to understand and resolve the issue, so my son could get learner insurance. Nothing was rushed and Carly took time to make sure everything was correct. Really good customer service, 5*.

I would like to take a moment to provide feedback regarding my recent experience with Sarah Henderson from the Collingwood Insurance office.

I found Sarah Henderson to be exceptionally competent and hardworking. I contacted the office around 12:30 PM, and she promptly requested all the necessary documents. I sent the required documents via email by approximately 12:55 PM. Sarah quickly responded, indicating that she would review them and assured me that if everything was correct, she would call me to finalize my insurance, enabling me to work later that evening.

I am pleased to report that all documents were indeed correct, and Sarah called me back to complete the insurance process by 1:20 PM. Notably, her shift was due to end at 1:00 PM, yet she chose to extend her time to ensure that my insurance was processed without delay.

Her commitment to excellent customer service and her willingness to go above and beyond to assist me is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for having such dedicated professionals on your team.

Great customer service today, Rhys was really helpful with renewing my policy, finding me the cheapest option that fit my current needs and telling me about what I need to do in future when I pass my test. Also great to speak to someone friendly on the helpline! ? So far, they've been a great learners insurance provider.

Easy to arrange online. Called with a query and Les was super helpful. He was friendly, clear and mindful of the fact that my son had never arranged insurance before. Would definitely recommend.

Rip Off Company with Ridiculous Rules for Cancelling a Learner Driver's Policy

All learner drivers go on to pass their driving test (or I assume most). This company forces you to cancel the policy when passing and then charges you £40 for the pleasure. This wasn’t shared in my original documentation or emails. Now that my son has passed his test, I also no longer have access to the account—most likely because they know this is a con.

I would really avoid this company. The person on the phone I just complained to couldn't have cared less, and from her answers, I guess she spends all day defending this £40 charge.

We have already spoken on the phone. The scam is that you take out insurance for a learner, then once passed you charge to cancel. We'd have left the insurance to run and expire, as obviously not needed.
Nothing in original email/documents and now as its cancelled, our account is blocked too.
Ultimately, its really poor service, and from reading 1star reviews on Google, Trust pilot afterwards, in hindsight I wouldn't have bothered. So just doing my bit to share my thoughts with other, thanks.

When I first got learner insurance I was amazed at the price and left a 5 star review BUT! Last month I had a letter stating my car insurance had been canceled because I supposedly said my car was impounded which it HAD NOT BEEN IMPOUNDED. 4 days later I had another letter saying they could not insure me again but they continued to take £74 and £56 out my bank! Once I reported it to my bank I had an email saying I needed to pay or they’ll take it to court. I AM NOT GOING TO PAY WHEN YOU CANCELED MY INSURANCE UNWILLINGLY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL AFTER ALL THE PROBLEMS THEY HAVE CAUSED ME!

I talked to Les on the phone when I couldn't change my insurance to my new car (?) on the website. They were so lovely and helpful and made everything so easy and fast. Everything was so clear (I get confused easy so I was nervous haha) and it was done within 10 minutes. Very happy experience, very nice person 🙂

An asset to any company, she really left us with a very favourable view of the company. Going above and beyond, maintaining a patient, professional and courteous manner all the way through. It really does impress when you come across a customer service advisor who knows their job.
