AVOID AVOID AVOID! It’s an absolute scam. One star is too generous. I cannot put in to words how awful their service is. I waited 5 hours for them to send a company that couldn’t diagnose a flat battery or get my car started or tow my vehicle to a garage so I had to get a local business to come and get it started, at my expense obviously after paying the excess of course (daylight robbery). Emergency assist are telling me the company fixed my vehicle despite me sending them the invoice for the work I arranged and ring doorbell footage of the recovery agent advising me what to do next as they weren’t sure what the problem was. Then, 15 days later they’ve rang me to arrange recovery of my vehicle. Absolute joke!
The complaints team are incompetent and getting a reply is like pulling teeth and none of them know what they are doing. I was told my complaint is invalid to then be told they couldn’t be more sorry and will put it right to then suffer their complaints department again. This is enough to ensure I never use them again and would urge everyone else to go somewhere else as anywhere else would be better.
Update - they have offered to reimburse me £80 and then stopped replying to me and have not paid me any money whatsoever.

Wow! I was shocked at the price provided by this company for breakdown cover. It was less than half of what I’m paying a reputable company.

Before I clicked ‘continue’ I thought it’d be a good idea to see their reviews. Thank God I did! All 1 star reviews in the last 3 weeks. All 1 star.

This company, according to one review, is that it’s not regulated by the UK Ombudsman. This says a lot. It’s a scam according to another.

People called the company for their service when required but they got cut off and never got a call back. Or they didn’t receive the service they pay for.

I’m not touching this company even with a barge pole. It seems like a scam of a company and thank God for reviews!

Please avoid as nothing is covered if you have a breakdown and it needs repair at a garage. You don't get a refund. I had a flat battery and the car was taken to a garage to get a battery replacement. The lady on the phone told me to send the invoice and copy of my last service to them to get a refund. The next day i had a email from " Ethan" to say battery replacement is not covered on my membership. Checked my membership and nothing states this, however if you go onto the website and shows you what is covered, really nothing is covered, including a flat tyre.

TERRIBLE service. Waited 3 hours in the dark with two children on a layby. No one came. Made contact with local garage who were still some time away - they advised trying to start the car again. I did this and managed to get to my destination 15 minutes later and updated the local garage. Emergency Assist subsequently charged me £120 for cancelling a call-out (in addition to the £30 excess already paid for raising the call). So I had to pay a penalty for a terrible service in circumstances where effectively no service had been performed by the company (and no loss incurred as local breakdown service not en-route). They threatened debt collection agencies hence no choice but to pay. AVOID!! Will go to a reputable breakdown company next time.

Horrible experience from start to finish. Called up initially to check if they covered businesses – was assured they did. When I needed to use the service, I was told I wasn’t covered. That took days to sort out, and eventually, I was re-covered for breakdown.

Today, I called for a separate issue, only to have some robotic call handler tell me they couldn’t recover the vehicle because it was 40 miles away – apparently, they only do “local” recovery. No mention of this in the terms and conditions anywhere.

When I asked for clarification on what “local” even means, the call handler just kept repeating the same line over and over, with no willingness to actually help.

I work in the trade and am actually one of their agents – I’ve never encountered this level of incompetence or poor customer service with any other operator. Absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs.

Read the smalll print definitions of what a 'breakdown' is. Last weekend a sharp metal object in the road butchered both passenger tyres leaving my wife stranded on a 60mph country road. According to Emergency Assist this isn't a breakdown, it's an accident....which they do not cover. £424 and 5 hours later the car was recovered the massive 1.5 miles distance home. Renewal is due next month, needless to say it won't be happening.

They might be cheap but definitely not worth it. Just make sure you read fine prints. I was told i won't be recovered as i took my crippling car to the garage where it finally died. Had to take it to a different garage as they couldn't fix it but no, they won't recover from a garage. So, should have left the car in the middle of the road rather than do road users a favour. Just read their conditions and if you buy it, leave your car in the middle of road if you breakdown. Do not attempt to pull to a garage.

I bought their courier cover as I have a van and deliver all over the country. I broke down on the way back from Newcastle one Friday evening and gave them a call. I was in a queue for 40 minutes and then proceeded to give my details to them. They took my number incase I got cut off which, happened just as we got to the part where I was broke down. They didn't bother to call back so I rang them... This time they didn't even answer my call. I ended up having to ring a local firm to recover me. The following Monday I rang them to complain and they said they would reimburse me as it was their fault but, now have stopped answering my emails. Absolute Scam company. Do not touch with a barge pole.
