Attended the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health course held at the Fusilier Museum in Bury. Excellent course, tutor was very professional and knowledgeable and sensitive to everyone's understanding/knowledge of mental health. Great interaction with the group and got everyone involved. The group were from various different sectors but it did not matter as everyone was encouraged to join in. Some great tips picked up on the day and made me think about things. Would highly recommend this course to everyone

We are a ladies charity and we recently completed a food hygiene course at our company, facilitated by Silvana. All of our ladies passed the course and we found it to be very informative. Silvana was absolutely brilliant, she was so very patient and really helpful, taking time to explain things in more detail to give everyone the best chance at learning. A great introductory course into mental health, giving a broad understanding of the issues faced. The trainer was very knowledgeable and led the 1 day training well, involving everyone with good group interaction. Would highly recommend this course for anyone wanting to gain a bit more insight into mental health.

Really well delivered Emergency at work first aid course, I have been on lots of these courses over the years but it was my colleagues first time, Silvana made sure to find out what our levels of training were and any experience we had had of implementing first aid over the years.
With the group we had there was a lot of comments and Silvana listened and advised on how changes in legislation would impact what we can now do dependant on training. We were all at ease, the course was broken down into manageable sections and plenty of time was provided so that Silvana could check our understanding and ability to put into practise the things we had learnt. I left the course feeling that I had a better knowledge of emergency first aid at work and confident I would know how to put into practise the lessons learned.
The course was held in a lovely room that made learning more comfortable and was excellent value for money.
I would strongly recommend this course.

Completed the FAA Level 2 award in First Aid for Mental Health.
Excellent course. A lot more information than I was expecting and delivered at a great pace and plenty of time to ask questions and really understand the content. The trainer was very sensitive to the needs of the group and adapted to the different work places we all had. Would recommend this course to everyone, not just management.
I am confident that I can now deal with situations with Mental Health and was given great information for signposting people where I cannot deal with the situation.

Earlier this year myself and a colleague attended a 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work training course provided by Compliance Training Ltd.
I’ve completed a lot of first aid and resuscitation training in the past, having worked as a lifeguard for 10 years, but that was a long time ago so I knew there would be gaps in my knowledge and things that have been updated since then. My colleague had no previous experience of any first aid training. With this in mind, I feel the delivery of the course was excellent. The training provided covered all the basics required, which is a lot to fit into one day, but it never felt rushed and we were always given time to digest the information and ask any questions if needed, and where appropriate we were given time to practice the practical skills to support the information provided.
The trainer on the day was friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.
She did a great job of getting people involved and making the day informative and fun to be part of.
If you’re looking for a training provider to deliver First Aid, or other training including Healthcare, Manual Handling or Food Safety then I’d highly recommend you speak with the team at Compliance Training.

It was a pleasure working with Compliance Training Ltd, over the five days you spent at our company training staff on Mental Awareness and associated areas. Our company has recruited the services of & attended Compliance Training's courses on several occasions over the years. We found the approach to First Aid & refresher courses very effective, friendly, interesting and good value. They are always held reasonably local to our business too which is a real bonus.
