James and Jason at CGL renovated our garden fully over the Spring and Summer of 2025. The works included removal of an old, tired patio area around the swimming pool, and installation of a new patio complete with walls and coping, new fencing around the garden, installation of track for LED lighting, relocation of a gazebo from patio area and building a concrete base for a new planned shed.

Firstly, the Harvey brothers are a pleasure to work with. They do not rush, they take the time required to do the job, and do it as well as they can, which thankfully is to a very high standard indeed. They are very easy going, and always happy with suggestions for what would and would not work. They don't quibble about minutiae and we had precisely zero arguments about money. They are as fair and easy going as workmen can be and I have no hesitation in recommending them to everyone.

They tend to be quite sad if the topic strays to football, hardly surprising given the teams they support, so it's best to steer away from that.

I'm really happy with the work that CG&L have completed for me. They increased the size of my patio, erecting new retaining walls, laying stone, and running a new path down the side of my house. There were no issues when plans needed to change and a solution was found quickly when I had an issue with my oil tank. Amazing work carried out by people who obviously care about the end result. They problem solved throughout and managed a tricky project with a wooden gazebo provided by a 3rd party company and a large composite decking area.
