Would give them 0 if possible but my fridge has broken but I assumed I was insured with this company but no, because I’ve not had the policy for 30 days I can’t claim.Ridiculous what’s the point of being insured from a certain date if you can’t claim from the date you’re insured just like car insurance.
Idiot on the phone had no sympathy with the situation rude & dismissive no customer service training whatsoever.’Never again! avoid!! I have cancelled the whole policy now absolute scammers!!!

Very poor service AVOID SAVE YOUR MONEY.
ALL THIS COMPANY DOES IS USE ENGINEERS WORKING ON A FIXED PRICE BASIS.
In my case unfortunately it was a currys engineer who didn't know his rectum from his elbow.
He came twice with wrong parts/ faulty parts.
By this time I had lost all confidence with his ability.
I asked a question at what point does this become uneconomical to repair. This gave him the idea to dream up a wiring fault, he spoke to his manager and proceeded down that line.
Cover 4 less offered me a small % due to the age of my machine.
That would have meant with the 2 days off work and my £50 excess I would receive £25.
Save your money!!!

Not worth the paper it’s written on. I have a broken dishwasher and called to make a claim. First thing they wanted was a receipt for the purchase. It’s 7 years old. So no, I don’t have a receipt. Then told I could make the claim but the dishwasher would be removed from the policy moving forward. AND any claims made within the first year the whole policy needs to be paid for in full up front. Absolute con. AVOID.

DON'T USE READ POLICY FIRST

Do not use this company..
my fridge freezer stopped working, so i called them up.for putting in a claim and the remaining monthly instalments for the year upfront. so they want £156 for the future monthly payments upfront before sending out an engineer to have a look at it. I might as well add some money to that and get a brand new fridge freezer with 3 years warranty from somewhere else ...RIP OFF!!!!!

They are basically scammers!!!! When I got the policy for my fridge beginning of January they advised me they will cover everything. Now they are saying we can’t cover this therefore we can’t help you. All that £10 a month I was paying until now! what a waste of money and time!!!! Do not get any insurance from them.

If I could rate this company lesser than one star I would have done it. The worse appliance insurance I have ever dealt with. I think they are actually a shame, compared to genuine insurance companies like D&G appliances. If you ever want to insure your appliances stay away from Cover4less. They are not what they have advertised. I found them on the Internet about 6 months ago, I covered 5 appliances with them. Unfortunately my washing broke down so I called them to make a claim. First of all, their customer service representatives are not trained. They are very rude and have no experience in handling customers. Bunch of cowboys and have no idea of what they represent. Initially I was asked to pay the excess of £35 which was not a problem, however they further went on to demand I pay the remaining premium on the policy before they send out an engineer. That sounded a bit strange to me, however they insisted. At the end I have to cancel the policy. I contacted D& G appliances who I wasn't insured with. They agreed to repair my broken Washing machine very cheaper and insure it. Within 5 days they came to fix my washing machine. I am sounding this warning to anyone who is considering to insure your appliances with Cover4less to stay away. You will save yourself from being spoken to like you rather owe them. I think FCA should crack down on this scammers.

Just spoken with them regarding tv been told there limit to maximum payout/cost of engineer of premium amount only as its within 90 days by 10 days, so have to pay upfront policy and excess for cost limit of the premium. It like bad joke ?

Do not use this company..
my microwave stopped working, so i called them up and they asked for £55 for putting in a claim and the remaining monthly instalments for the year upfront. so they want £111 for the future monthly payments upfront plus the £55 for putting in a claim......and this is before they even know what the problem is......RIP OFF!!!!!
