Whilst nearing retirement, my pension & financial options seemed really daunting, I was introduced to Christopher Oakes through a mutual friend. Chris conducted a rigorous financial review, this gave me a much clearer vision of what my retirement could potentially look like, in my opinion, a really invaluable exercise.
You hear through the media about unscrupulous financial advisers, cleaning out people's pension pots and hightailing into the sunset. I was resistant to giving anyone my financial details, which could potentially leave me financially vulnerable. Chris was extremely reassuring and professional, leaving me in no doubt he was the right person to handle my affairs.

Once Chris had done an overview of my policies, no doubt spending considerable time, he concluded that at this time, my pension was best untouched, and whilst he could move & manage it, there was no financial advantage for me to do this. To my mind this was an incredibly honest conclusion as Chris hasn't actually made any charges to me based on the review he has conducted.
Without doubt, I will be using the services of Croft & Oakes going forward, and will be recommending them to family and friends.

Something about her passion and personable approach to her work really made me think I could sit down, start sorting all my messy pension pots and start putting some proper protection in place. The process dealing with some of the pension companies seemed long and frustrating at times but verity was very professional at all times chasing and liaising with the pension people but importantly communicating with me with regular updates, i would not hesitate to very strongly recommend Verity to anyone she did what she said she would do in fact a close friend will use her services in the future wishing you all the very best for the future well done.
