Very disappointed with the service we got with DBS. Met one of the Directors of the firm who made a lot of false promises on how he would sort out our tax issue with minimum cost and stress - these promises were not met. The timescale between our initial meeting with DBS and us paying HMRC was 15 months, most of which were months of anxiety and worry as HMRC were continually sending us letters warning us of penalties due to lack of information and communication from DBS. We are still receiving letters from HMRC now demanding money for penalties due to the incompetence of DBS. As clients we were passed around to various members of the DBS Team, none of which were up to speed with our case. I will add that, one thing that e DBS Team are impeccable at is; not returning calls or emails, they get the gold medal for that.

I can honestly say after my experience in Buiness I’ve had, and not a very good one with a previous accountant, DBS mark especially looked after me and set me straight and has looked after my Buiness, he has help my Buiness go from strength to strength with a weekly email to keep me updated, and on track making sure I don’t fall behind.
I needed showing the proper ropes how a Buiness should be run, and I couldn’t recommend mark and his team enough, this is probably my time to say thank you, I wouldn’t be half of the Buiness women only for you and your team, couldn’t recommend enough, and I would never ever leave them as I fully trust his input and advice, and in Buiness that’s hard for me, so as long as am in Buiness I will always be with DBS …. Shocking service! This company promised to save us money and ended up costing us a lot more than needed! Avoid. Told us to ignore letters from HMRC and now we are paying penalties. One disappointed and now annoyed customer. Feel like they are not interested in saving you money but happy to over charge for their service
