In my experience, Devitt have always been very competitive on their quotes, and this year, 2025 my quote went down on the previous year.

This is not the first time this has happened.

Other well known insurers I've dealt with, have always tried to ramp up the price, considerably on renewal, hence why some years ago I switched to Devitt, tired of the annual inconvenience of phone calls complaining about an unwarranted increase, and then having the premium reduced.

Refreshingly this has never happened with Devitt.

Yes thankfully I've never had to go through a claims process, but with my experience so far, very happy to recommend Devitt.

Called Devitt to cancel policy and take out a new one. The person that answered my call couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant. Sorted out everything I needed quickly and efficiently. No problems at all.

I would just like to say that Devitts Insurance Adviser, Lisa R arranged car insurance for both my husband and myself. I was struggling how to arrange the policies but Lisa showed me great patience, understanding and knowledge, which made the whole experience very straightforward and she rang me back as promised. We have been with Devitt for some years now and we are always very happy with their service and advisers but I'm sure that Lisa went above and beyond and I am so grateful for her help. Top marks

Do not use ! The hoops they make you try and jump through after you have taken out the policy is crazy ! Extra paperwork and agreements you have to print sign and send, not to mention the dvla codes, took absolutely ages, when they then asked me to resend I decided to cancel my policy. Use Bennetts insurance. So much easier

Never had a problem with them but dont like how they just auto renew. People are busy i get that but a letter about 3 weeks before would be handy.

Robbing bustards.. 320 for insurance. Like for like quote 145. Some difference in price. Plus took the full some out of my bank account a full week before my policy was up for renewal. Have since been hit with bank charges as wasn't expecting that to come off.as had already insured my bike that morning
