I have been dealing with DCL for many years - definitely one of the top Fleet insurers especially on the Heavier fleets.
Competitive rates on standard and 3 year deals and the in depth quarterly claims reviews are a massive plus for any client wanting to stay on top of their risk management. Have no issues recommending these to any client.

Had the misfortune of having to deal with Direct Commercial due to a 3rd party claim. Their customer service is appaling. It is very difficult to actually get to speak to anyone, they do not return calls, and never answer e-mails. Please think carefully before giving this company any business. There are far more professional insurance firms available.

Is this company legitimate?
A driver insured by them committed a Hit and Run, DCL are completely ignoring the claim. Will most likely take them to the Financial Ombudsman.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

DCL Commercial provided insurance for our commercial fleet and refer to the small print in order to alleviate themselves of respoibsility to get out of a cliam. DO not be fooled by their cheap prices, the do not pay out and have many hidden clauses within their insurance which they use to wriggle out of a claim. Their communication has been terrible and responses unacceptable.

Save youself the hassle and insure with a known insurer that will handle your claims professionally, it is unfortunate that you only learn the nature of an insurer in the event of a claim. Do you research and go with a known brand.

A bunch of layers specially Kellyanne dennet Alistair dealing with mr Alistair and the last day that everything was going to finish and tried call them saying he left for 3 weeks and then kelly picked up saying send all the paper back to her email everything was sent out to her email and now everything is upside down huh hes saying something else and shes saying something else
