What I thought was a minor repair has turned into a nightmare. DLG returned my car in an undriveable state, then claimed it was a “pre-existing condition.” After more than 20 calls and over a month of waiting, I’m now stuck going through the complaints process.

How can it be a pre-existing issue if the car was driving fine before the accident, and now can’t go over 5 mph? On what grounds do you conclude that damage caused in an accident was already there?

There’s no excuse for returning a car without proper testing or confirming the diagnosis—and even worse, implying the customer is making it up.

The attitude has been terrible overall. Direct Line passes all responsibility to the garage, leaving their call centre useless and it’s clearly abused by the “approved” garages like this one. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely fantastic service.
All the staff were brilliant and my came back to me in a pristine condition, will all the repairs are 1st class.
I must also say that the courtesy car provided was excellent and, looked like it had just come from a very high quality dealership.

Pick up and drop off were excellent. Job was completed without fault. The only issue was a delay waiting for a part, despite having been assured that all parts had arrived before the van was picked up. However, communication was good throughout and my vehicle was returned cleaned inside and out.
