Edinmore did some reinstatement work through our insurance following some water damage. They were friendly enough and the main joinery work was done well. The finishing joinery in the kitchen left a lot to be desired. During the installation of the kitchen they butchered the Howdens corner larder cupboard, this had to be rescued. We managed to get this sorted and back into our house (after 6 months out). We have since found that the 2 cupboard doors on the larder unit are not fitted correctly and the doors will not close. They are causing the screws to pull out of the wood on the hinges. Having been in contact with Edinmore about the issue (after being told about their guarantee of workmanship) I have been told basically it is not their problem. This is without a phone call, or a visit to see the problem. It has just been”decided” that this problem is from wear and tare over the past 5 months. Without a call, with it a visit, without them seeing the problem they are washing their hands of us. The self same kitchen had been in the property (for over 2 Years) before our flood which led to the reinstatement, and we had no problem with the he doors on this larder unit. We had to get a new kitchen fitted as a result of dry rot issues. From start to finish we have had no problems at all dealing with Edinmore. Greg was the manager of our job and kept us informed what was going on, and coordinated with our insurer and the other companies involved in the work. The kitchen itself was fitted by Brian Hughes ably assisted by Bryan Bremner. Both were lovely guys, very professional and respectful, and who really did a fabulous job. We are extremely happy with the end result. We also appreciated all the work of our painters, Brian, and Scott, and all the other workers who helped get this sorted. Thanks everyone!

Edinmore took over my home reinstatement works after a long drawn-out & stressful experience with a previous insurance-appointed contractor, and their involvement was a welcome turning point and huge relief. From the first meeting with Davie, Debbie & Craig it was clear that professionalism, empathy, and communication were a high priority — qualities that had been sorely lacking until that point.

The team treated me and my home with respect, kept me informed at every stage, and were responsive and solution-focused. Special mention to Danny who was there throughout, & Davie & Gary too - thank you, you've given me my home back.

If there were any issues, they were addressed promptly and with care, never dismissed or downplayed. I always felt heard, and their willingness to take responsibility and find practical solutions was reassuring in this industry.

From start to finish the Edinmore team provided an excellent level of service and consistently demonstrated their company values of professional-quality-caring.

We had water damage which meant 2 weeks worth of work replacing the garage ceiling, upstairs floors and doors followed by redecoration of the affected areas.

The surveyor (Mark) and project manager (Andy) arrived when arranged, were very thorough and communicated well throughout.

The Edinmore team (Stevie, Darren, Keith, Gary, Liam, Craig) were on site early each day and worked hard ensuring an exception standard of work.
They were a great bunch, very respectful and a pleasure to have working in my house. I even picked up a few tips on painting and how to hand a shelf !

Incredibly positive. All the Edinmore staff with whom I came into contact were friendly, caring and committed to providing a quality service. My house and garage had been flooded due to a burst pipe in my loft.Plasterboard walls and ceilings required replacement. The two staff tasked with this work went about their work in a very skilled and professional way. The painter who spent about a week repairing and painting did a great job. Similarly, the electricians did a great job as well dealing with water damaged electric lights, smoke detectors, extractor fans and the fitting of an oven and Hobb with the assistance of an Edinmore plumber. Overall, I was incredibly impressed with the professional way Edinmore management and staff dealt with all the damage to my house and garage from water damage. They are a company that believes and provides quality service.

Absolutely wonderful - couldn't fault them.

Our house was completely destroyed by a burst pipe in the loft, and required all new ceilings, tiling and decoration and flooring.

The Edinmore team actually began work earlier than we expected, and began in the fortnight before Christmas. They worked right up until 2 days before Christmas, and even left their work table and chairs out for us, as they knew we had wanted to spend Christmas in the house, and but were staying in a hotel nearby. We had a great Christmas dinner in the house thanks to their thoughtfulness. Thank you Allan , Stevie, Craig, and Scott. And Greg of course.

The standard of work was exceptional - the house looks beautiful. Every little detail is perfect, and the work was completed ahead of schedule. The paintwork is flawless - just beautiful. We can't stop looking at the painted skirting boards. Immaculate.

The plastering is incredible. Such a high standard of work.

The house was cleaned thoroughly by Edinmore after the work was completed - they even cleaned the windows which was a lovely touch.

Our neighbours told us that the team was on site by 7am every day, and parked their vehicles in a way that didn't inconvenience anyone. They didn't play loud music either, so the neighbours were happy, which was big plus for us.

Every single thing in the house looks incredible - really above our expectations. They even sanded and stained the windowsills.

For me, it's the little things that the team did that show just how good they are: They put things like the matches for the fire and the hasp for the loft in a little box where I would find them, along with other essential things. They put the curtain hooks next to the curtain poles - little thoughtful things like that, which made us feel like they actually cared.

I'm pretty sure they even filled my bird feeders! They also mended a broken metal clothes pole, which they hadn't broken.

Thanks so much, Edinmore. You made what could have been a really stressful experience into something amazing!

I want to thank Alan and Craig who were doing joinery work at my house. Not only did they both do a very professional job, but every evening they cleared a safe path for me to be able to access the outdoor pod and my cooker. Special thanks to Brian the painter, nothing was too much trouble. He took great pride in his work and his attention to detaiI was the best. I am delighted with the work he did. Finally a very special thank you to Stevie the plumber, who fitted my new bath, sink and toilet - I was blown away when he finished installing it. His work was to such a high standard, a very professional job. I am absolutely delighted. These four men are an asset to Edinmore Contracts ltd.

Just had a complete kitchen refit through Edinmore Contracts Ltd after a kitchen fire last year. I noted some pretty negative reviews, but I have to say that my experience has been the complete opposite, with an outstanding kitchen being the end result. The expertise and professionalism shown by Brian and Bryan when fitting the kitchen itself was wonderful, with fantastic communication and interaction throughout. Our tiler and decorators, Kieth and Daniel, were both equally professional as they delivered an outstanding finish to all their work, pulling the finished look together, all of whom were expertly coordinated by Greg. We are over the moon with our end result and would like to thank everyone involved!
