I dealt with Marilyn on my insurance renewal for a problematic building. It was over the Christmas period when another broker let me down on the 11th hour. After calling over 7 different brokers, Marilyn was the only one that provided a solution based response. Most brokers were either not answering phones or they responded with dis-interests, perhaps due to the difficulty of the case.
In short, the insurance is now in place, thanks to Marilyn's efforts. Her updates and communications were good. If she could not pick up the phone, she would email me.

Insurance is terrifying because if you make a slip and put 'Yes' when you should have put 'No', when the real answer would be 'Maybe', and then your house burns down, the insurance company may refuse your claim.
You need to know what to do. You ring the help line and you get a real person alright, but it's a real person who will only read to you from a script.
So, it was an amazing relief to ring Eggar Forrester and speak to Tommy Hodgson who actually knew what he was talking about. If you want an assured and excellent service for a difficult insurance situation, this is clearly the company to go to.
