We were assisted throughout our Mortgage application by Mark, who came highly reccommended. Mark was full of knowledge of the mortgage market and able to advise us which bank to apply too. Despite some difficult circumstances with regards self employment and a recent blip with our credit history, Mark made what was a stressful time run smoothly to completion. Without Marks expertise I'm sure we would not have got our application approved, or at the least it would of been delayed.

I contacted this company in October last year, the advisor was very keen and helpful. We are now in September, he constantly ghosted me, and cost me money in credit files, and told me in January I had to wait till June for a mortgage, amazingly he disappeared and never replies to my mails. I wouldn’t advise using this company if you have poor credit, equally get my advisor who stated keen, and then gave up and ignored me. The poor service has caused me issues, this company are most certainly not open and transparent

The first time I used this company they were exceptional! Sorted a mortgage for me when I had given up hope. They really were excellent! However, this time, the experience has been far from excellent. Waiting days and days and days for any response to an email or any updates as to what exactly is happening. I even had to ask my solicitor who the lender was and if the link I received for a valuation was legit. Turns out it wasn’t and that lender fell through anyway. You’re left in the dark having no idea what is happening. I had repeatedly said I need to have this arranged by a set date before my current fixed rate ends, and I was met with treatment as though I was being impatient and told I had ages. It’s been over 4 months now and as I knew was going to happen, my fixed rate has ended and I’ll be paying double the repayment amount as it hasn’t been done. So my review is this, they are great, they can get you a mortgage when others can’t, but, expect to wait DAYS (a week one time) for a response to an email and allow yourself absolutely ages to give them enough time as they are very slow!

Clare Hanson at Finance Advice Centre cannot be recommended highly enough. Diligent, prompt and with a level of customer service that is rarely found these days.
Truly, if you are wanting mortgage assistance call her. You will not be disappointed.
