I met Steve shortly after leaving mainstream financial practice under a cloud of disillusion. The industry (and yes, it is an industry) is geared more to serving its shareholders than its clients, so much so that advisers who wish to buck this trend in their clients' best interest are marginalised.
I chose to get out, but Steve is and remains a force for reform.
You might only know how good Steve is if you've worked with other advisers in the traditional way. If you work with Steve, the relationship will be more personal, more caring and in terms of providing your best outcome, more relevant and effective.
