Highly recommend Fletcher Longstaff and would use them again. We were first time buyers so it was all new to us and we were expecting it to be a much more confusing and time consuming process! However, Fletcher Longstaff made it simple and clear.

Gareth was very prompt with responses and helpful throughout with any questions we had. He was great at following up with the other side’s solicitor, looking after our interests, and keeping us informed throughout. Quite the opposite to the usual experiences we’ve heard from others of communications with their solicitors!

We found the timeline / checklist on the portal useful to quickly refer to if we ever needed to check what was outstanding or what was next. We chose FL partly due to the online nature being convenient for us - this worked really well and there was only one time where it made sense to speak on the phone to clarify something about transferring LISA funds, and it’s great having that option when needed, while at the same time not ever needing to come into an office in person!

I am a very experienced cynic, especially with conveyancing firm, but I can assure you they did not give me reason for concern at any stage whatsoever. At the end when we said “phew, that was a long process and very time consuming, how much do we owe you for pulling out? They replied “you have not reached completion, so there is no fee for our service”. They did not try to persuade us to proceed with any pressure, simply working in our best interest from start to finish. Goes to show even in the most extreme of circumstances they stick to their word, they are a fine example of a firm conducting good business….

I wouldn't use any other conveyancer. Tom was absolutely the best. We had a really difficult sale with some technical problems. Tom efficiently sorted it out and kept us informed all of the time.
