Stayed with them for another year. Many people state it is difficult to make a review if a claim has not been made. We recently had an incident with our caravan, luckily we did not have to claim however Frank Pickles answered the phone, provided advice and supported. We have now renewed with them due to the support we have received. I would recommend.

I received a very reasonable renewal price for my static caravan.
However when you click on BUY , you are taken to a series of questions. One of these is worded as follows -

is the caravan in a locality that has suffered any storm damage ?

I replied YES as I doubt there is anywhere in the country that hasn't suffered storm damage.
On replying YES I got the following response -

Sorry your quote has been declined

Reason(s) given were:-

DECLINE - This area is not free from storms

Insured with another company now instead.

Moved home due to a posting with the military and had to change where our caravan was stored. This company refused to insure our caravan at the new storage site, told us we would have to cancel and charged us £50 for the privilege. Have had quotes from multiple firms who have agreed to insure at this site (which I hasten to add is a reputable firm with 40 years experience storing caravans)
Have just seen multiple reviews on trust pilot relating to unfair cancellation fees. I wish I had stayed away from this company.

Had to make a claim for damage to our caravan and was very happy with the professional and efficient manner in which it was dealt with. Have now renewed my insurance with Frank Pickles safe in the knowledge that should anything else occur it will be dealt with swiftly. Attitude of “customer service representative” at renewal stage was horrible. Changed my insurance company after five year due to her attitude and incompetence.

Good telephone customer service. No contact email address or message facility. It would be good to have an easier way of seeing the costs of different options without having to generate a quote for each change with all the associated emails
