Don’t bother going with this insurance company,
Cancelled my policy because I didn’t send them my proof of no claims which I was waiting for from my previous insurer. When I called to try and get it re-instated they just told me they wouldn’t be able to do it.

I then received an email saying that I owe £254 in fees because my policy has been cancelled, baring in mind I’d already paid one month and a deposit!

Absolute joke of a company just don’t waste your money and go with someone more reputable. Worst insurance company I’ve ever used

I signed up for car insurance 12 days ago. £164 deposit. I was harassed daily to connect a device I just received yesterday. Because I didn’t realize my PERFECT DRIVING RECORD on a car I have had sole ownership for over two years, didn’t qualify for a NCD, due to me not being the policyholder on previous insurance?
Cancelled.
I asked if they just don’t cover anyone with a NCD…”Well, the premiums are high”.
So they just decided I can’t pay a higher premium? They just made a decision based on prejudice? I still somehow owe them money on a policy of 12 days? I am now being threatened for an escalation of a balance, they’ve arbitrarily made up, of less than 24 hours? They’ve stolen £164, for a 12 day coverage. What on earth else could I owe them? Why not just offer me a different policy?
Also the telematics device literally just showed up. They’ve been threatening me over the last 12 days with fees, demanding I install it NOW. Now I’m being threatened for not returning a device I’ve only recieved TODAY…after THEY cancelled a policy, discriminating against me as they simplyASSUMED I can’t pay a higher premium? Why? Because I’m not a citizen? Because I’m on a visa?
Have owned the car for years BTW, perfect driving record.
A discriminatory, unethical company.

If I could I would leave even less star. Bad , really bad customer service and I would recomend to save your time and money and do not go with them! Insurance was cancelled and with that had a lit of unknown fees which is arround £300 and when been chalanged whats that and why couldn't explain whats that. Very shady company. Couldn't even hive full address where to send black box back. Had to go and google myself. I would call this company scammers. Dont understand how they got licences at start point.

Freedom Brokers Ltd. has been an absolute nightmare, and I cannot stress enough how infuriating and disappointing my experience with them has been. From the moment I signed up, it was clear that this company has no interest in actually serving its clients—only in exploiting them.

Let's start with their so-called customer service, which is a complete joke. It’s like they’ve hired the most apathetic, untrained individuals they could find. Reaching out for help is a waste of time; you’re either ignored entirely or receive a half-baked, dismissive response that solves absolutely nothing. It’s as if they couldn’t care less about your problems once they’ve got their hands on your money.

The platform itself is a total disaster. I’ve never seen something so glitchy and unreliable in my life. It crashes at the worst possible times—right when you’re in the middle of making a trade. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been locked out or frozen mid-transaction, causing me to lose money that I’ll never get back. How they can justify this kind of incompetence in a trading platform is beyond me. It’s an absolute disgrace.

And then there are the fees—don’t even get me started on the hidden charges and ridiculous rates they slap on everything. They lure you in with promises of competitive pricing, only to nickel-and-dime you with sneaky fees that you don’t even notice until it’s too late. It’s daylight robbery, plain and simple. There’s no transparency, no warning, just a sneaky way to bleed you dry.

The so-called educational resources are laughable. Outdated, irrelevant, and utterly useless—they’re not worth the digital space they take up. For a company that pretends to cater to both beginners and seasoned traders, this is nothing short of a bad joke. It’s obvious they’re not interested in helping you succeed, only in keeping you clueless and dependent on their terrible services.

The worst part is the blatant lack of transparency. Everything about this company feels shady and dishonest. Crucial details are hidden in the fine print, and good luck getting any straight answers from their so-called support team. It’s like they’ve designed the entire operation to trap you in a web of confusion and frustration.

To say I’m angry would be an understatement. Freedom Brokers Ltd. is a scam dressed up as a legitimate service. They’re nothing more than a money-grabbing operation that preys on unsuspecting traders. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay as far away from this company as possible. I regret ever giving them a single cent, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Worst insurance company ever. Explains why they are so cheap. Don’t trust them don’t go with them. Had a a vehicle stolen and getting passed fromo e call handler to another. Can’t resolve anything.

Because I have a 2nd car with another policy they wouldn't let me transfer my no claims dispite having no claims on both cars with 2 seperate policy. Their cheap quote on comparison site turned into paying over £100 a month for a Van. A joke, oh and they charged me to make the change to.the policy and then charged me again for updating to my current number. I've never in my life had such a bad experience from an insurence company as zi can garentee you these guys will be bankrupt or rebranded within the next year. Awful awful company.

Tried to sort my husbands insurance with him and they put the phone down on me. The company is the WORST. Just glad I am not with them too. Their portal doesn't work. The customer service is beyond shockingly poor. He paid in full for the year. And now because he hasn't sent them the correct documents (which he has) they have threatened to cancel his insurance. Joke of a company. They should not be running a business ?

Awful experience. Had policy cancelled due to issue with direct debit (unbeknown to myself) and was never notified to give me chance to rectify the issue. When I spoke to premium credit, they was helpful and was happy to re instate it if they had the clearance from freedom to do so. Alex (supposed to be a manager) was very unhelpful. Definitely do NOT recommend!
