Firstly thank you. Thank you for helping me sort through my pensions and helping with the management moving forward. I know that I should know better, but since changing to being self employed they have sat there and lets be honest, not doing much.

Even though I work in the financial industries myself, I do not know about the pension aspect. You explained this in full to me and talked through how the funds will be used and managed. Thank you or taking the time to go through this with me.

After years of hesitating and wondering if I should seek the support of a financial advisor I took the plunge late in 2023. I had met James Tilley before and although we didn't know each other very well at that stage I already had a strong impression that he was someone that I could trust.

My biggest fear/hesitation regarding seeing a financial advisor was that I thought I might be pressured into taking actions I didn't want to (e.g. paying a higher percentage of my salary into my pension). I was not sure if a financial advisor would really take the time to understand me, my circumstances and help me make the right decisions for myself.
