A very big thank you to the team who helped us secure the home we have waited almost a year to find. We would like to thank in particular the brilliant, Rebecca Hindhaugh. Our very first house search and estate agent was with Rebecca at GWF. We both felt at great ease, she is genuine, friendly, very interested in ensuring she could help meet our requirements, knowledgeable and very timely in answering any queries we had. We hoped Rebecca would be the person to help us and, she absolutely was. She is very professional and friendly I'm sure Rebecca is a great asset to your team. Nothing too much trouble.
You can teach the basics of a job to most people but you either have or have not a great natural customer awareness and service and Rebecca has both these qualities in abundance. Rebecca made our home search even more special and memorable. Thank you Rebecca and the rest if the lovely team.

Shocking unprofessional company, who do not care about their customers.

I had an appointment to view a property at 3pm on Tuesday the 20th January. I travelled the 26 miles from Pegswood to Whittingham to see no one had appeared. I checked my phone and found that someone had left a message at 10.40 am to say the house had been taken.

Surely people should have the viewing that's been booked for them before a decision has been made !!
I rung up the agent to be told the owner had picked someone himself. If the owner had someone in mind he should have let the people who have viewings booked long before a few hours before the viewing.

It's disgraceful. I've had to do a 58 mile round trip for nothing today and I'm 70 year old with health problems.
Its totally uncaring and ruthless as well as unprofessional. I'd stay away from this lot if you can.

EDIT- i stand by my comments about Jennifer who is absolutely amazing and has done nothing but help - HOWEVER

Heidi who is the property manager has done nothing but harass us on the landlords behalf throughout the whole tenancy we have had nothing but issues boiler and window leaks for the whole 12 month tenancy never a resolution implemented even right up to our move out day.
WE PAID £4,200 to secure the house that’s 6 months rent upfront assured it would be long term 10 months in and we are asked to move for reporting the leaks and complaining about the landlord spontaneously turning up for 8 months of the tenancy until he was told it would be a breach of our peace if he turns up again.

Lastly we have moved left the house in immaculate condition and are now being refused our deposit back £695 of the £4,200 he took upfront!

We now have to go to the ombudsman to get this back as it sits in a security scheme I am 100% certain we will receive our deposit back through the ombudsman and am willing to endure the lengthy process that it is! But I should not have to!

My advice is - STAY WELL AWAY FROM RENTING HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE MOVING YEARLY AND NEVER EVER RECEIVING WHAT YOU PAY SO MUCH MONEY FOR!

All the staff that work at company's Alnwick office we're extremely pleasant polite and friendly, the services that we required over the past week we're carried out swiftly and without any fuss. Jennifer Neil is the agent that we viewed the property with and it was absolutely wonderful to find someone that knew what she was talking about and had answers to the many questions we had. Unfortunately the many other viewings we had (with other agencies) they were not up to speed and didn't have any relevant details of the properties that they were showing us and couldn't answer the relevant questions. We just have to say a huge thank you to Jennifer and all the staff at the Alnwick office you are all wonderful and we can honestly say that we can recommend the company to all. If I could give a 10 star recommendation I would. Once again many thanks and a job well done.
