I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Giles Finance, and I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. From start to finish, the entire process was riddled with delays, lack of clarity, and poor communication.

I had the misfortune of dealing with an individual named Dennis, who was astonishingly slow and unresponsive. Every step was delayed, always with one excuse or another, and trying to get clear answers from him was like pulling teeth. Professionalism and efficiency seem to be non-existent at Giles Finance.

To add to the frustration, I started the process of obtaining a bridging loan on the 1st of September 2024. By the 1st of October 2024, they still couldn’t find me a suitable offer. When they finally did, the product was not even the same as what was discussed, full of hidden fees and unclear terms. After I pulled the plug on this entire nonsense, they kept my £1,100 deposit, which was given for the property valuation survey, and then fabricated bogus fees to justify keeping the money.

The most infuriating aspect is their complete lack of transparency. The terms of their services were deliberately vague, and they continuously tried to impose hidden costs that were not mentioned in the original agreement. They either have no understanding of their own products or are outright dishonest.

I cannot recommend Giles Finance to anyone seeking reliable financial services. My experience was an unnecessarily drawn-out, confusing, and frustrating ordeal. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.
