GM FIT has great training sessions in a welcoming gym space. It's a lovely community of people, and very friendly.
I started my journey with PT sessions six months ago. Grant ensured my technique was always correct to prevent injury. He made personal adjustments for my ability, making sure I protected my lower back (previous injury).
I have now joined the group sessions too.
Grant has a positive attitude, he gives encouragement and genuinely cares for my development. I'm really pleased with the progress I have made since I joined. I feel stronger and more confident.
I actually look forward to training! It's fun and always a laugh! Usually because I forget how many reps/sets I've done and can't count!

I’ve really enjoyed the classes and the personal training sessions with Grant. He’s a great person, who’s knowledgeable in all areas of fitness which I have found really beneficial. Also a really friendly group who go to the sessions and make everyone feel welcome, whatever your fitness levels. If you’re thinking about joining, go for it!

I have been going to GMFit for just under a year, joining the Blitz Fit classes which are small group personal training a few times a week. Grant initially took me through the exercises and pointed out what to do/not to do to safely complete the move. Since then, he has kept encouraging and pushing me to be confident about taking on heavier weights whilst continually focusing on technique & safety. These groups have been great, very friendly, and a really enjoyable but challenging class. Also, as a women in her 40s, I have found weight training to be invaluable in helping with some of my perimenopausal symptoms.

Most recently I have been attending some PT session in the build-up to a personal challenge. I hurt my back gardening and was unable to train. So, in the lead up to the run, Grant helped me with both sports injury recovery and cardio work. I also learnt a lot about how to stretch pre- and post-run, something I had never done!! During these sessions, Grant identified the root cause of my back problem, providing me with exercises to help with the recovery and sessions which helped my back regain strength and improved my cardio fitness.

The day of the run, I could feel the benefit of the many months of strength training. I completed the run without my back troubling me, and what's more, the next day, I experienced hardly any muscle fatigue - something that has never happened.

Overall, I have seen a significant improvement in my strength and cardio fitness since going to GMFit. If you are looking for a knowledgeable personal training who is genuinely interested in helping you achieve your fitness goals, then Grant at GMFit is the person for you.

Without a doubt the best exercise classes I’ve ever done! Circuits and bootcamp are really fun and the smaller Blitz-fit classes are great to help you increase your strength and technique, and find out how far you can push yourself. Grant is very motivational and gets to know your individual strengths and weaknesses. My strength and overall fitness have improved massively after only a few months and I always leave each class feeling great! Can’t recommend highly enough!

I started personal training with Grant in March with the intent to loose my lockdown weight. However, after I found out I was pregnant in April, my goals quickly changed to building core strength and improving mobility to help prepare myself for pregnancy and birth.

Grant was very knowledgeable and quick to adapt my fitness plan to suit my needs throughout all three trimesters and I really appreciated how flexible he was to accommodate any last minute changes when my body simply couldn't handle it near the end.

As others have said, Grant is a lot of fun to work with and very motivational. I was quite anxious about getting back into exercise after several years off but I never felt judged. I would definitely recommend training with Grant if you are looking to get into exercise.

Baby boy is due in five weeks, and I am really looking forward to coming back to GMFit in the New Year when I am ready to exercise again! Thanks Grant!

Since joining GM FIT my fitness has improved month by month and I’m feeling so much stronger and healthier.

GM FIT is far superior to any gym or instructor I trained with before. Grant has a welcoming personality and is a great instructor and motivator. He gets to know each client and will always encourage you to go that extra mile. During classes with small and larger groups, Grant is able to support each client to achieve their fitness levels and to avoid injury. When I suffer injuries Grant help and support me to strengthen that area and I was able to continue to exercise while I recover.

Right from the start I was made welcome by everyone. Great facilities, training & atmosphere.

During the classes Grant makes sure there is variation in every single session. The best thing is to never know what to expect in a session:)

I started training at GMFiT in November - I started with the Circuit class and then moved to BlitzFiT as I really enjoyed the small group personal training. Grant is excellent at motivating you to push yourself but is mindful at the same time of any adaptations that need to be made. I really enjoy a tough workout and I have been challenged at every session! I really like the combination of exercises and workouts - every session is different and I always walk away feeling tired but energised!!

Visited GMFit as visiting the area for a few days. I booked online easily. I did the Saturday morning WOD. Got there ten minutes early filled in the standard waiver. Grant had a chat with me, asked me about my experience and what I like to do. And he used that to help push me through the workout and get the most out of me. Roughly 15 in the class and there was plenty of space and lots of different experience levels. Everyone was friendly, everyone help push you on. It's a great gym, a good workout and I'll be coming back.
