I had a puncture and booked help through the app. The mechanic who arrived, Luigi, was absolutely lovely. He was friendly and professional and took great care to make sure everything was handled. He rang me when he was 15 mins away, and helped me to explain to the garage what I needed. 10/10 service end to end — i am especially grateful as a solo female driver. Thank you Luigi 🙂

I used to be a contractor for ‘National Breakdown’ and liked their customer care.
So now years later I took out personal cover with them (now obviously Green Flag)
I have a Mercedes SLK 2016 and a 2000 1200cc Suzuki Bandit which only comes out on sunny days and is in excellent condition.

My first day out on my Bike in 12 months having had a reverse shoulder replacement a year ago, the bike unfortunately came to a halt a few miles away from home and wouldn’t restart, I could have possibly have pushed it home, but was thoughtful of my shoulder and didn’t feel confident enough to do so.

So I clicked the app, clicked ‘rescue me’ popped in my bike registration, it immediately came back ‘vehicle not covered on personal cover too old’

I had to call a motorcycle garage in Lancaster to rescue me, costing more than my annual subscription to Green Flag.

This was our first ever call out. I won’t be renewing with them again….

I had a great experience with Green Flag this morning. Basically I locked myself out of my car and was in a hurry to catch a train. The service I received was amazing and I was on my way in a short time from the initial phone call to a Green Flag to their representative arriving and opening my car. So relieved and so appreciative!! Many, many thanks !!

The wait was over two hours. 4 people called to confirm my location and yet it still wasnt passed on to the driver. The man sent was also not a mechanic, he had a tow truck and some jump leads. When he said this on the phone I called greenflag again to ask for an actual mechanic to be sent. The awful lady on the phone called the mechanic a liar, told me i was wrong and a liar, and then hung up on me! Terrible service I will never purchase a greenflag policy again.

Having been with Green Flag for several years, I had to use them recently and found the service to be excellent, the recovery vehicle turned up within an hour and dealt with the problem (a seized wheel nut) quickly and we were on our way soon after. Recently renewed - very happy.

My Green Flag recovery is part of my insurance policy and I had to contact them this week due to a stuck starter motor. My car was stuck on a relatives driveway which caused them a huge inconvenience, so I was already quite flustered when I called Green Flag.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Emma who was so patient with me while on the phone and, due to my work commitments, helped me arrange a two-hour recovery window for the next day.

The next day, the lovely Damion from MKR Recovery arrived at the start of the two-hour time slot and, while he was able to get the car to start, we decided that I couldn’t risk the starter motor sticking again, so he towed the car to the garage if my choice.

I couldn’t fault the service I received from Green flag and MKR. A huge thank you to both.

Not sure what happened to my policy last year. I asked them to amend it and remove my car, leaving my wife's with cover. It seems they cancelled it, leaving us with no cover. I've had to get a new policy setup for which I have been charged an admin fee of over £20. The total is over £60 for the year. They could have at least waived this fee as I've been a customer for some years. I'm a little disappointed that they didn't understand my instructions last year and cancelled our policy instead.

Waited over 8 hours for recovery

Firstly unable to leave a zero star rating

Phoned Green flag at 07.00 for recovery due to a failed AC Compressor, 8 hours later still waiting to be recovered. I have never received such poor service from a breakdown company. Needless to say that we will be cancelling our membership with Greenflag and would strongly advise anyone considering taking out membership to consider how much of their life they are prepared waste waiting for what we would consider to be the worst recovery company we have had the misfortune to deal with
