Calling this company " cowboy builders" is an insult to cowboys. They are a company I wish I had never heard of or seen except the insurance company insists they are great. I feel Phil Curran who posted about one year ago praising this company would as he is the "big chief" ,( sorry insulting Indians now didn't mean to. Work start on my sunlounge after 5 and half years of hassle and lies from insurance, on 1st July 2024 with a completion date of 22 July- yes 3 weeks for demolish and rebuild. The completion then changed to 30 September because they never worked a 5 day week and went missing for weeks on end - no reasons or apologies. The date then changes to 11 October, now today they have not been near for 12 weeks, and have no completion date or comunication to let me or my solicitor to lnowcwhat is happening. Paul from HPS told me i had been rude to him 18 months earlier See photos of what I have been left with for me and my dog to cope with.

What a fabulous reliable company. Following a ceiling collapse, plasterers Mark and Aidan came to fix the ceiling. Great guys who clearly knew their job. Decorators Martin and John followed on. Martin is a true professional who won't leave until the job is perfect and that you are completely satisfied. Best decorator i have ever had. Ignore the bad reviews. These are great workers, and they clean up afterwards.

Would not touch this company with barge pole. If insurance company offers them as contractor decline. They came in August to strip out our leaking en-suite shower. We are still waiting for the reinstatement works. Just been told it may be January 24 before they can complete .the works. We are in worse state than before they started. Very poor management unable to programme works even after months of being given contract. Also had to fight to get rubbish removed from drive..

TERRIBLE. Do NOT use this company.
Took 5 mths to do a simple, but fiddly job after a Flooded ceiling & Floor.
All workmen were lovely but strung the work out into days each time, disappearing for Breakfast etc.
PLATSRE removal was very messy and we still have dust and rubble in cupboards and behind cupboards which randomly falls onto food prep areas. NO apologies or offers to clean.
SIMPLY APPAULING customer service, they are ripping off insurance companies and by doing that all our policies go up in price. Would like to give ZERO starts but google won't let me.

Absolutely disgusting company - If your insurance company appoint these to carry out repairs to your property REJECT them straightaway - Rude staff - Botched start to job. I had to complain to Insurance company to have these removed from the contract.
New company a million times better!!!!!!!!!! and actually communicate everything with the customer.

UPDATE:

The good thing is I am under the impression this company has been removed from their approved contractors list.

Absolutely shocking company. How can they allowed to trade. They were appointed by my insurance company to repair a leak, replace bathromm and repair kitchen ceiling. They incorrectly fitted the bath so there were gaps at each end of the bath, knocked all tiles off the wallk, knocked a hole in my bathroom wall. Worst was to come, they dropped the bath when trying to rectify the fitting and knock a hole in my kitchen ceiling. We have since found out that the waste pipes they replaced were too small causing further leaks.

OMG guys, refuse to accept them carry out any work. Communication and accountability is non-existant.

Utterly disgraceful. They were assigned by insurance to sort out major storm damage to our house in 2021, sent out subbies to do most of the work, all cowboys, still have major ongoing water ingress and dangerous electrics, jobs were only half done and even then to rubbish standards, they haven't got a clue what they're doing. AVOID!!!!

Disgusting company. Major storm damage to roof on 26 Nov. 2021. Scaffolding erected on 10 March 2022. Roofer started 22 March and repaired main leaks. Roofer returned on 27 May to replace other broken tiles. He disappeared after 1 hours work with the damaged tiles still in place and 20 tiles left on my decking. HPS and the AA were informed but the scaffolding was taken down anyway on the 12 June without any work done . The interior work was done to a high standard but their roofer and office staff were hopeless. Poor communication between the office staff, scaffolders and roofer caused long delays. Water leaked into the bedroom every time it rained until the main leaks were repaired on the 22 March. HPS did nothing about the damaged tiles and the scaffolding was removed on the 12 June.
Total ignorance. Avoid this company if you can. If you are insured with the AA home insurance company watch out as they use them.
Update 31 August 2022. It rained this morning and I found that the guttering was leaking above my conservatory.. I went onto the flat roof and found loads of broken tiles on the roof and in the guttering. The roofer could not be bothered to clean up after him. Cowboys is too good a word for this company. Search the web as I can see other reviews similar to mine.
