I had a call yesterday from an Asian sounding man who was insistent I remember that they had won me a PPI refund for £1800 in 2018, now, I did have various PPI refunds, but not from this company.
He asked for my permission to go ahead with the updated claim via clicking on a link, but I refused until he had given me further information via an email.
I found it odd that he said they didn't have my Ema email?
But I gave it him, and he promised to forward the necessary details to me.
That was 24 hours ago and I still haven't received anything.
Also the number he called me from seemed to be a mobile, but when I called it, it immediately went to an answering service that said the inbox was full and no messages could be left.
I then looked up the number for HYC and called it, it rang once and then the counter on my phone just counted up, and nothing more happened.

He had information on me that was accurate, including the card details that I had previously owned, so I was thinking it wasn't a scam, but then I called my bank to see exactly when the refund was paid in.

Oddly, the bank could only find debit payments to HYC, one for a penny, and the other for their charges.
But no credit at all!
Unless they credited a credit card linked to the refund, but I doubt it!

Seemingly scam actions from a registered company, so I would not recommend them.

Had claims with these in the past and they were ok. Just done 3 in recent weeks on whatsapp coversations and sent my finance agreement details for PPI claims and now not heard anything back from them and none of my texts are being answered, so now got another company to deal with it as they seem useless

Made a claim with this company that was successful, however whenever I called there was no answer, the website was ‘under maintenance’ and I did most of the chasing myself. When I received the cheque I’d already had two red letters and 16 phones calls demanding payment (30% not the 24% as agreed) I’ve had my money now 3 weeks and have not settled simply due to the harassment Ive received plus the cost to myself in calls etc etc, I think 6 letters in one week when it hadn’t even cleared ridiculous. When they revise their charge I’ll settle.

Again I will say very pushy people. I had a text to say a claim had been settled and that the cheque would take 14 days. The very next day they started chasing for the settlement money. I hadn’t even had the cheque. I finally got it on Saturday got a lead time of when it would clear which is Thursday. They obviously get paid commission only because I have had 14 calls in total two this evening a young rude boy called Tim and I told him I knew why he was ringing because of the numerous calls I had had. I got the cheque and it will clear on Thursday. He said he would phone me first thing Friday to get it settled. I will ring them when it clears I told him andas for reviews I told him I would leave a review to say how pushy and rude they were and how many phone calls you get. His answer was to be fair it doesn’t matter what review you put about me .... I am only interested .. I have to say at that point I put the phone down again. It is a small amount of money ... yes they did the work but tbh there are far better people to use than these. Don’t be cold called or bullied by them.

Absolutely fantastic throughout from the service up until they managed to get me quite a staggering sum of money back off a well known bank who had diddled me out of loads of cash with their PPI scam.
I personally have had nothing but polite and informative people dealing with myself and have kept me informed and up to date with how everything was going.
Glad I took the time to go through and do it and at them having a 30% payment I'm just glad I got something back of which I didn't know about that I was entitled to.

Highly recommend.

Just thought you would like to know!! You have a member of staff that you currently employ by you Called Violet. The worst customer/people skills I have ever uncounted in my life This member of your staff rang me yesterday in regards of a payment. I was driving to hospital at the time and told her I wish to pay via bank transfer. She sent details over via text and I made a payment from my first direct acc this morning.
5.45pm today she calls me back and almost called me Rude and did not believe me that I made the payment? I suggest that if you wise to up your customer service ratings you have a tool box talk on how to speech to client?
Total unacceptable and no need she was more interested in talking to me about what she wanted to say and was not interested in the FACT it was sent from my account this morning. She was making me out a liar then told me PAY YOUR BILL and put the phone down.

I genuinely have no issues with this company. They done all the leg work and I got £7000 back. They didn't even ask for my bank details. (which is a red flag in itself) got cheques sent to my address. Hassle free. They do take 25% of what you win but at the end of the day, I didnt expect anything back.

I've personally not had a problem I've never taken ppi but they got me some money back so I can't complain people are saying there fee is steep. But to be fair it's money you would have never got if they hadn't done it for you. The Mrs has had near 2k back. Only thing I will say they are very impatient when it comes to paying them. We got the check over Xmas and with work and banks been shut was hard to get time to go. Think they phoned everyday asking if it had cleared. But overall everyone I have spoke to has been very friendly and helpful
