We're so fortunate to have a Post Office in Hextable. The Post Office is in the Morrisons shop so we thank Morrisons for keeping our Post Office in the village.

Went to post a package . Lady serving behind counter was counting money . Looked up at me and just carried on , without uttering a word.
Then started talking to her colleague , like I was not even there .
When she finally decide to serve me , she just stared.
The whole transaction was non-verbal apart from asking me if there was something of value in package and what how I wanted to post it .

She didn’t tell me how much the postage was or even how I was going to pay .

Not sure if she was having a bad day , does not like her job , is like this with all customers or perhaps she just didn’t like my skin tone !

None of her reasons are my concern . I owned a main postoffice and the reason the customers returned to it was because I and those working for me smiled when we served and actually spoke to them while serving .

Won’t be going there again. I’ll use the Swanley post office library where the staff are friendly and very helpful .

Usually fine but today a woman had closed the post office mid morning "for 10-15mins" so she could "count money". It wasn't 10-15mins, it was much longer - around 30/40 minutes. All the while she grumbled that she was doing this in her own time. Not sure why she had to count the money in the middle of the morning. Her colleague was eating a sausage roll behind the counter next to her. What a waste of time.

Hit and Miss when open !
Many times now i've visited this dreadful post office only to be told there is not enough staff to open the post office or nobody on shift can operate it.
Won't bother going here any more.
