Had a phone call this morning with Michael Brennan, he was extremely helpful and informative. He assisted us in signing up for insurance and has also put us through to the media team to get our broadband sorted - this has relieved a lot of stress off our shoulders! Sometimes speaking to people over the phone can be overwhelming with information but Michael kept it clear, short and sweet!

Absolutely spamming me with unsolicited sales calls following a reference check. If this slimy pitching of insurance is your business model I really hope people think twice about getting insurance from you.

Also your rates are horrendous and sales script is way too hard sell for anyone with a head to trust you.

Dealing with Hadley L was pleasure. A lovely chap and a joy to speak with. He was very efficient and polite along with being caring and diligent. I felt very comfortable with how he dealt with my renewal and the whole process in general.

Renewed policy without clear notification. Signed up with them last year with a one-off annual payment and didn’t want to renew due to finding a similar policy for a third of the price. Logged into account and saw a message that said ‘ Update To Renewal Invited’ which I assumed I would have to click on to authorise the renewal. They took £150 out of my bank without authorisation- I was not aware that they had kept my card details on file with a one-off payment. When I called for a refund I was advised that they let you know they will automatically renew in the fine print. A very dodgy and sneaky way of renewing without authorisation and making customers waste their time having to call in to cancel and organise a refund.

I've set up my home insurance policy today with a fine chap by the name of Enoch Biney, who was very helpful to me and clear with what I needed to do. I wasn't overly sure with what I was doing but he guided me through brilliantly and made it very easy for me, top man. and thanks to Homelet as well for making everything very easy.

Be careful not to be duped into paying for liability insurance unnecessarily!! I had a simlar experience to others leaving reviews, was sent a text that implied my referencing wasn't complete and to call them to finish the process. When I called the operative gave me two options of liability cover to buy, it wasn't until I enquired that she told me I didn't have to purchase it. She then tried to sell me wifi until I told her the property already has it. These were the only two things we discussed on the call, it was wholly unnecessary. Ambiguous language used in the text and during the call and it is not made clear that none of add-ons they are selling are mandatory until you ask, this should be upfront! Grossly irresponsible and misleading, expect better from a company. like homelet.

Had a lovely chat with Michael Brennan from Homelet today. Very friendly, helpful and to the point!

Really appreciated the well wishes with my upcoming move and although we had to go through technical details/ T&Cs he listened and respected that I had limited time on the call during my lunch.

It’s also a lovely touch to have a follow up email with a direct contact to Michael after taking out my policy should I need to discuss anything further. Thank you ?
