A beautiful little tucked away gem next to a nature reserve. Completely peaceful and full of birdsong. Host Corina was lovely and helpful. Amenities really good and area just lovely and a great base to visit Salisbury, Stonehenge and Shaftesbury. WiFi is great, walks fabulous. Yes ok there is a Trainline but honestly we forgot about it as they are few and really quickly gone. Just a perfect getaway and absolutely a nature lover paradise

Liked: Friendly owners, shown to pitch and facilities.
Lovely walks straight from site all on national trust. Close to pub and shop.
Free WiFi which was pretty good.

Disliked: Only 1 shower and 1 female and 1 male toilet.
Does looking they are building more. Abit of waiting especially first thing in the morning.
Site right on train track. They go past regularly but only during the day.

Liked: The view of the national park from the tent pitches. Peaceful place to stay. Yes there is a railway right next to the pitches but the trains did not run as much as people have said on previous reviews and it did not bother us at all.
Staff really friendly and helpful!

Disliked: The toilets could have been a bit cleaner as well as the shower room.

We stayed on site in our small motorhome for four nights. We were warmly welcomed on arrival, and shown the facilities before being directed to the our pitch. We were facing the beautiful National Trust land which was very tranquil. The toilet and shower facilities were clean and of a good standard. The washing up room was under renovation, but was adequate. Altho the site was busy, we rarely found any of the facilities occupied. The train line runs next to the site with trains passing around every 30 mins , but they are going so fast that the noise is gone within a few seconds and didn't bother us. We enjoyed our stay very much and will not hesitate to return.

Liked: Before Iโ€™d even got to this campsite Corine had reached out to me so I already felt welcomed. The camping field is small but pitches are really spacious. I was lucky enough to be next to the most glorious field that was teeming with wildlife and the most amazing views across fields and meadows to the beautiful National Trust property of Phillipโ€™s House. The field is accessed directly from the campsite and provided a wonderful off lead walk for the dogs.
The facilities at the campsite are lovely. Loos and shower are spotlessly clean and warm. I particularly liked the spacious shower unit which is self contained with a loo and sink as well as a shower. This would be especially good for people travelling with younger children.
Corine could not have been more helpful and was always available to chat, answer questions and problem solve.
The site itself is in a great location for exploring Wiltshire. There is loads to do nearby and itโ€™s wonderful to spend the day out and to come back to the peace and tranquility of Honeysuckle Homestead. I will definitely be returning to this site when I need to get away from it all and unwind.

Disliked: The only thing that would improve this site was having a shop within easy walking distance. Not the campsites issue I know but it would have been handy to be able to pick up some basic stuff without having to hop in the car. The nearest shop is only a 5 minute drive so not really an issue. Iโ€™m just not that organised.

We were warmly welcomed by Corina. The room was clean and had everything we needed for a two night stay. |The en-suite was big, clean and had a lovely walk in shower. The continental breakfast was good with lively fresh fruit and all the usual things you would expect. |Great value for the price we paid.

Liked: Gorgeous veiw, huge pitches. Peaceful.

Disliked: Not a dislike really but one toilet per sex and one shower, though the shower room was a good size with a toilet and sink, obviously many people wanting tonuse it at the same time meant waiting or going without.

Liked: We liked:
Direct access to National Trust parkland and other country foot paths.
Good views of open fields & woods.
Very clean shower and toilets.
Kind & friendly owners.
Dog Friendly.
Very good cost with everything included in price; such as awning and a pet.

Disliked: A single track rail line in a cutting close by may be an issue for some, but did not really spoil our stay.
