Good service but can’t believe the difference between admiral and these guys. They quoted me 4 times as much as admiral and when I checked my other car it was almost 3 times as much. Been with them for years and dread to think how much I have been overcharged😫

Have had both my vans and my house insurance with a plan for many many years, and last year they dumped me for one of my van insurances a week before renewal. Had insured this vehicle with them for many years previous. This year they have done the same thing with my other van insurance. Not impressed at all. Have now gone to Adrian Flux who have been more than helpful. Looks like they have lost it somewhere along the line. Such a shame as I like to support local business

Avoid Avoid Avoid. I rang for a quote for my sons car insurance as Direct Line was quoting £1280 for his renewal. This is a 20 year old with 2 years no claims bonus. They finally came back after me chasing several times with quote for £3000. Yes after advising me that they have a specialised company who concentrate on young drivers they came back with £3000. I finally got a quote Direct with Admiral at £1057.
So please avoid this company and go Direct to Admiral.

A Plan took over South Coast in Bitterne and quoted me over £700 for my car renewal when I paid £370 last year!
I went back to an insurer SAGA direct as I use them on another car and was quoted £550 for like for like. I will not go back to A PLAN although the girl I rely with was very helpful.

APlan in Fareham took over the business of John Lane in Gosport. What a disaster !!
APlan did not send me a reminder that my house insurance was due. I had to renew in a desperate hurry although their best price was twice what John Lane had produced the year before. This was simply because the previous insurer was not on APlan's favoured list. Sounds like a bit of a racket to me.
I went direct to the insurer John Lane had used last year. They were brilliant. They offered exactly the same deal at the same price as I had had last year. I signed up with them,
Now I wait to see if APlan will return the money from my cancelled excessive demand from them. The omens are not good. No renewal reminder. No response to two emails to the office manager. Not open at 0830 as advertised.
The only reason why APlan in Fareham get one star is because they took over two lovely staff from John Lane. Otherwise it would be no stars at all.
My advice : do not touch APlan with a barge pole
