Ian and his team did an amazing job for me. I knew what I wanted but had no practical knowledge of whether it was feasible or the steps involved. Ian advised and guided me as to the options and different ways to achieve what I wanted and took this time to understand my vision. Being an older house things did not go as planned but Ian took the time to explain what the issue was and provided solutions, I felt like he really cared about the work he was doing. Ian and his team are friendly, approachable and work to a high standard. The cost was reasonable and I would not hesitate to use him again.

We were badly let down by architect plans for our small extension but Ian came up with solutions that satisfied Building Control and saved out sanity! He went over and above to get things sorted with structural engineers despite being away on holiday. He earned huge respect and confidence in the way that he handled the situation he found himself in. We cannot fault the workmanship.

From the first visit, Ian was happy to give advice on the plans and explain how he would go about the work. He gave us a detailed estimate and, once the work was underway, he was always prepared to spend time explaining what was being done, and why.

Ian is an excellent project manager and a great problem solver. He kept the project on track when the design was changed because the structural engineer had made mistakes in the drawings. Ian was also very willing to listen to our ideas as work progressed, and was happy to make small changes to the plans.

The team (Luke, Cameron, John, with occasional appearances by Tom) were first-rate - great workmanship, always punctual, and very friendly.

Ian Rice Builders have just finished a job for us and I cannot recommend them enough. They are a lovely company to work with. Their team are so nice, polite and professional. They came back to us when they said they would and kept us updated. We had to make a few amendments to our build during the process and they were always accommodating. They also kept the site very clean and tidy. After 5 years of works on our home, its such a relief to find a great company to work with. Our house keeps trying to fall down around us so I've no doubt we'll carry out more building works in the future, and we will definitely use Ian Rice.

Ian and his team completed a rear 2 story extension to an excellent standard. Ian worked hard to overcome each and every challenge along the way whilst communicating at each decision point.
