Robbed my elder parents of their money !!! Don’t use them!! The fees to charge us was way more above the normal!!! They cheat and lie when it comes to $$$!!! Wish I could sue them !!

Do not hire this company. It’s family owned and they got their hands in every pot to take advantage of their clients to rip them off. They have their own adjustment company, board up company, restoration company and cash and carry lumber company. Ask for proof of building materials, paint, supplies and labor, they will try to disregard your request or eventually provide a cop out excuse, but you won’t get any of that requested information. They sub contract their work out to other inexperienced contracting companies that have degrees in business management, not experience in construction. They will try to exclude you from building plans and materials. When they’re called out on their construction defects, you’ll see another side. Good luck getting those defects repair. They even go as low as to taking a percentage of your personal contents when they don’t assist in completing that portion of the claim. This company is getting over on people’s losses and vulnerability, they should be investigated by the attorney general’s office for fraud. They’re gonna get plenty of free advertisement, but I can reassure it’s not the advertisement they want. Steer clear of Seth Straff, Ida Straff and their staff.

My experience with Insurance Adjustment Bureau (IAB) was exceptional. Their efficient, professional approach in addressing the claim remained consistent from day one til the end of the case. The guidance from Ira and Michael, and the general flow of information at every level really took the stress out of the situation. With their assistance, I was back in business within 6 weeks!

On 11/17/2016, I was returning home to New Jersey from work in Philadelphia. As I turned onto my street, the area was crowded with fire companies. I made my way to my home and it was totally ravaged by fire. Everyone was safe , family and fire fighters, but I lost my beloved dog, Jeter, and every material thing we owned after nearly forty years of marriage. We had only the clothes on our backs! One firefighter said , " Do you realize that you don't have a toothbrush at this point ?"
That night a number of adjusters and unscrupulous people seemed to appear out of nowhere. They had pamphlets and information which they said that we needed. It was amazing the lack of compassion; they only saw an opportunity to cash in on our disaster.
The following morning, shocked and confused, I signed a contract with an unknown insurance adjustment company not IAB. Unsure and apprehensive about the integrity of this adjustment company, I started to call friends in the insurance industry. That's when IAB was highly recommended! I called Mike at IAB, explained the situation, and he informed me that I had 3 working days to void the contract by New Jersey law. He drove down that evening to our hotel and explained the legal aspects of our situation. The following day I went to the fire site and fired the company I initially hired. We signed a contract with IAB that day and it turned out to be the best decision we ever could have made! Despite our tremendous loss we soon realized we were in good hands with IAB !
Mike was extremely compassionate and professional. Ira soon arrived and took the reins. Immediately my wife and I knew we were going to survive this horrific tragedy as well as we possibly could, thanks to the competent professionals of IAB. We had no idea what public adjusters were until our house fire. We quickly learned that IAB is a top -notch company with well -established departments, such as relocation, construction , and legal , to assist in all aspects of recovery from disaster. It truly is an amazing group of experienced professionals who work tirelessly to help people in their darkest hours.
Ira, Mike, Lisa, Jill and his entire staff were kind, hard- working, and ALWAYS there for us. During the long difficult months of this process, IAB worked diligently on our behalf. We hope that no one ever has to endure what we went through; if it does happen, the only adjustment bureau to hire is IAB! They truly made the best out of the most incredible and traumatic event of our lives! We will forever be grateful to Ira and his company for all of their efforts and time!
