If you have an Apple device just get AppleCare. Phone stuck with DPD and no help from the customer service to get it resolved. Having to wait for a 'DPD investigation' to be resolved, no help from the Insurance2Go Customer Service. Waste of money

Scumbags. After paying for 3 years without any claims, when I lost my phone, they asked for information they thought I wouldn't have and declined my claim. I don't recommend them.

Insured flip 3 2 years ago, made a claim this week. Had to go through multiple hoops to show proof of purchase and it was finally approved. Told them I wanted the same phone and colour if possible. Anyways, sending me a flip 4 with 3 months warranty - what happens if something happens after that period? All products come with 12 months warranty! Spoke to them today and now being, I insured a flip model.and not 3 and that I should have checked! Hence sending me a flip.model phone. During the whole process, I told them.flip3, etc..Now being told my policy might be invalid and have probably paid the wrong excess and they need to investigate. What kind of assessment teams do they have?! If this is.not resolved.in my favour, I would.be contacting the Ombudsman. Never again!!

I had my phone insured through Insurance2go for over 7 years (!), handset after handset, whenever I made an upgrade I just swapped it on the contract. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company, I've been let down when I needed a very simple matter resolved. I don't want to imagine what would it be if I actually had to make a claim. The company expected for me to predict the future and update them prior to the situation, which was obviously impossible. I received a faulty handset and had to send it back for a swap, unfortunately it was out of stock. I was lead to believe I can expect the device anytime soon, but the waiting continued. I didn't know how long it'll take, was chasing it up constantly. I eventually couldn't wait any longer (it ended up being over a month), I was dealing with the phone provider and my network as these were separate, and it was very draining and time consuming. I eventually decided to get a new make and model. When I've aksed Insurance2go, can I get a £7.99 refund for 1 month when I had no device to cover, I've been pretty much served a cold and harsh response and denied my request. I have explained the situation in detail, offered to send over proof the phone was sent back and that the handset is not available, but they backed the decision up by saying that I haven't informed them piror to releasing the device which wouldn't make any difference at all. I initially though the matter will be resolved within few days and I'll just contact to update the new IMEI. I'm not in the best financial situation at the moment, and with the cost of living crisis, every penny helps. Surely £7.99 wouldn't make a difference to a huge company who made a lot of money on me for the past 7years and 4months exactly(!). Pure greed and no empathy to customer. As I said, I can't imagine if I actually had to go through a claim. They broke my trust and I asked to cancel the insurance as I don't want to deal with Insurance2go any more. In return I've got a blunt copy and paste response. No apology no reasonable explanation. I can't recommend this business, avoid!

Steer well clear of this company. After coming to light that Insurance2go had been collecting monthly premiums on a policy I cancelled over 4 years ago I asked for a refund. They have outright declined even tho I can prove I changed my phone. They say they have no record of my call ?!!!!!!!! Convenient! Absolute thieves. Don’t give them your business !

BEWARE FRAUD COMPANY!!!!!

I had my phone insured with Insurance2Go, I lost my phone whilst out shopping so I made a claim online and I was told to upload Proof of Purchase, Proof of Usage, Proof of Barring and a itemised bill. I uploaded all this then 4 days later they emailed saying we need additional documents from you, They asked for 2 proof of address, a letter from o2 confirming they issued me a replacement sim, A picture of my passport, A screenshot of FindMyIphone so I uploaded all those documents. 3 days letter I got a email saying we need additional documents again so this time they requested one more proof of address ( I had already sent my council tax bill and my bank statement and my driving license ) but apparently that's not enough and also they requested a copy of my biometric residence card and they also wanted proof of Purchase again but this time they want to see the purchase on my bank statements.

And at this point I have had enough because they keep lying just to delay the claim and not issue a replacement phone.
I recommend no one waste your money with them as they are pure Thieves.
I had to upload 14 different documents just to get a replacement phone and I didn't even get one at the end ? WHAT A JOKE!!!! THEY ARE A FRAUD JUST ASKING FOR RANDOM DOCUMENTS so you get fed up and cancel your policy just like i did.

Shame on them

Claim they received my parcel but it was empty and the contents had been removed, I'm not sure of this as the prior conversation they said "As this was not sent with Royal mail It may not have reached them correctly" the image showing the handover the box looks intact. I can't be sure but my guess is that the parcel was opened by them and the device has been misplaced and now they are trying to pass the blame, I have no proof of this but if I had read these reviews before I would not have took my insurance out with insurance 2 go / City Main. What a shambles of a company!

Fraudulent company. Increased my excess to 150 without notifying me. Absolute con artists. They now want 150 for a smashed screen, would be cheaper to fix without insurance.
