Renewal pricing exploiters - more than doubled my premium at first renewal from £252 to £520 when I hadn't made a claim or changed anything. The FCA's GI pricing practises regulation PS21/11 was meant to stop this kind of practise: "Our rules ensure that renewing home and motor insurance consumers are quoted prices that are no more than they would be quoted as a new customer through the same channel".

Absolute waste of money. As a professional musician it is really important to me to have all of my equipment insured, especially considering this is my livelihood. I have claimed for damage to my Macbook screen, the Mac I use everyday in my studio. They have told me today they won't pay out my claim because I didn't spill a drink on it or drop it. I guess it doesn't pay to be honest these days! Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere, I am looking to cancel my policy and go with another insurer. You do not get piece of mind with this company...they WILL NOT pay out.

I insured with these charlatans two years ago. My laptop was damaged recently at a gig and I made a claim with Insure4music. I was first accused of changing my story. They stated I had alleged someone had poured a drink over the laptop and this call was recorded. When I challenged this and asked to listen to this recording they were unable to do so.
Not surprising, as I said no such thing!
Then I was given 5 reasons why the laptop was not covered for accidental damage. One cited was that it was over 8 yrs old.
I asked to cancel and get a refund. I was transferred to a manager called Josh. He stated he would look into this and get back before end of business 6 days ago. I rang back 4 days later to be told he would call me back. He has yet to do so!
I called today and cancelled the insurance to get a measley £64 refund including a cancellation fee, which they refused to waive even though they we're responsible for breach of contract and despicable conduct.
What I find particularly irritating is that they messed me about getting evaluation and replacement quotes which cost me money obviously knowing they weren't going to pay me up! And effectively accusing me of lying? Unforgivable!
Do NOT even contemplate getting insured with this pack of liars. You're wasting your money. I'm more than £850 down and have been treated like a criminal.

I have been trying to buy insurance from this company for weeks - Don't bother!

Their website obviously doesn't work. Both the "buy now" or "email quote" options do not work.

I'm too busy to pone during the day so trying to buy out of hours just doesn't work.

Good online quotation but no results.

I urge anybody considering using I4M for insurance to avoid them. 3 phone calls today to actually speak to someone after our policy was cancelled out of the blue. Because of this we were left on the road, uninsured with high value equipment in Central London. Lucky nothing happened.

The letter we received stated it was due to "non payment" although it transpired to be because of an error in proving our address. This was not provided as we never received correspondence requesting this. I4M have also failed to send proof of this.

After cancelling the policy they've then taken the monthly payment anyway and now refuse to resolve the issue without us taking out a new policy. Would hate to be on the end of this if it was a £10,000 claim we were trying to make considering this is all over the petty amount of £81 and admin error, which I suspect was also by I4M.

The conditions under which you can make a claim are ridiculous.
I had the policy fort least two years making no claims and I wanted to claim for my PA speaker which broke down and they said I couldn't claim for it even though it did come under accidental damage. This policy is ridiculous and they don't even send engineers out so you have to take the speaker to the shop beg someone one or pay for someone to tell you whats wrong with it and then after they will reject you and you will end up wasting your time. RIDICULOUS

Been with them for 1 year and will be making no return . Wanted to make my first claim just after the first year was up . I was in a number of queues to get to the right person until I just gave up. It looks like you main costumer that have paid for a services get nothing back .
