Sadly, I've had the same experience of other reviewers. I had no idea who ICA were until our removal company, Gentleman & A Van, handed my email over to them after they caused £1,674's worth of damage during our move. Considering we paid £276.08 for insurance through our removals company, and then had to pay £50 excess, we were only given £423.92 (taking those costs into account). I wish we had read the terms and conditions closer and chosen a different insurance company for our move.

Read all the reviews, Check your Removal company do not use this firm, you will not receive a penny even if you think you are insured!!

*sigh*... rather than writing a decent review I'll sum it up briefly: Terrible. May as well have been completely uninsured and saved my money.

Go with someone else. If your removalist company recommends these guys, protest loudly.

I would have given negative 100 if there was an option. This is a company full of scam and lies. They work with shipping agencies and cheat customers. I had a full coverage insurance for my shipment from UK to India and this insurance company never talked to me and allowed my shipping agency to talk to me and when I lost high valued items, these guys collaborated with the shipping agency and cheat on claims and stole all my costly items worth thousands of pounds

Unethical practices and I can see why removals company J.A Steel & Son has chosen them to be their insurers. Equally as rancid and detestable.
