My wife recently won a traxxas xrt in a competion, we had a issue on second outing so I reached out to traxxas direct in u.s and they put me in touch with j perkins for warranty issue, after a few emails and conversation with dave parts were sent out to me now all resolved excellent service

Excellent service from J Perkins when I had issues with my sons TopRC Messerschmitt. Geoff even took the time to call me to explain the issues he found after fixing and test flying it. They even sent it back to me Foc! Definitely recommend these guys, and will be using them again in the future.

I had a faulty RC transmitter and receiver. Contacted Richard at J Perkins service center for advice. After a series of suggestions. Richard told me to return it as there appeared to be a fault. Sent the item back and within 4 days I had a brand new replacement. Have bought from J Perkins for years and always received great service. Great company to deal with. Recommended.

Awesome Service. My Hitec Transmitter needed a new display but no spare was available. Geoff kindly took the display off a knackered Transmitter and sent me it FOC. I'm back in business. Can't praise J Perkins enough.

I have just completed a buidl of a Seagull Pioneer Trainer.

I liked the ability to split this model into easily transportable sections.My choice was to fit an electric motor as the power unit.
Unfortunately the build was not possible straight from the box.

The bolts supplied to join the the two part fuselage and wings would not enter into the capitive nuts. I overcame the problem by using a die nut (6mm x 0.75) to reprofile the end of each bolt.

The main undercarraige was too short in it's axlelength to accept the wheels and the collets provided in the kit.

It proved necessary to obtain and fit wheels of concave section and smaller collets.

The covering medium hoiled readily and the colours ran very easily spoiling the finished looks.

Also the kit lacked a hatch cover for the battery/fuel tank compartment and a suitable support for a reciever.

I have successfully built some forty Rc model aircraft from scratch and from kits and have to say that, this kit was dissapointing, due to a lack of Quality Control.during it's manufacture.

The design concept and its fying characteristics I like.

Howevert for a trainer, which is likely to attract persons new to the construction of RC modeling, it is dissapointingly not a straight forward project..
