From my limited experience of using this branch I am happy to post 5 stars for great service. Tiegan answering my early morning call was friendly and very helpful in arranging an urgently needed delivery at very short notice.

Hand gel at the door, social distancing measures in place, and a generally calm atmosphere inside the shop - the guy behind counter even brought my purchase to the car in the car park. Can't fault them at all.

Helpful staff, convenient place to stop in and get the timber you need. Not always the cheapest but great quick service. They also cut timber to required size while you wait. Good assortment of fitting, paints and tools too

Although this branch is no longer local to me, I stopped by to re-tool this week after my local outlets had depleted their relevant stock.

I have been testing practically every bucket available on the market for the greater part of the last two decades, and the incontrovertible conclusion has been that the Jewson blue bucket reigns supreme.

I was therefore delighted to find an adequate supply of these units at the Berkhamsted sales point.

The customer service was polite and helpful, ensuring appropriate discounts were applied.

However, there is only one qualm. Upon starting a new employment today, I noticed that where the traditional bucket used to bear the company logo, there was instead the logo of a different company, namely ""Novi Pro"

Initially this caused a moment of anxiety, as I am a great believer in the maxim "if it ain't broke don't fix it", but following its first nine hours of service, I am pleased to report, it has performed solidly. But the question remains, will it last the 2-3 months you could expect from the original?

One week on, and I am disappointed to announce that one of the two buckets has failed, The top rim is clearly more brittle than the preceding model.

Jewson, please can you reinstate your blue bucket?
