As a first-time buyer, I was nervous about the mortgage process, but Peter Stirrup made it all so straightforward. He explained everything in clear, jargon-free language so I felt confident and understood each step. He also recommended a surveyor who I used and was very happy with. My house purchase ended up taking longer than expected, which meant we had to reapply for a new mortgage. Peter kept chasing the best rates for me to make sure I got the right deal and kept me fully updated throughout. I honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
JLM also helped me with my income protection insurance, Jay was great, she talked me through all the different insurances so I had a clear understanding and helped me make an informed decision on which one to proceed with.

We could not recommend Peter at JLM enough. He has been so great throughout our mortgage applying process, it has been a long one with lots of false starts! But Peter has always been on hand to advise and get back to any queries we may have and does so quickly and without the jargon! Matt Scarlett was an absolute superstar throughout our sale and purchasing journey.
I was recommended to JLM and Matt through a work colleague and we were in safe hands straight from the off. Matt arranged all the paperwork for our MIPs and AlPs AND sorted switching our mortgage once our fix expired to tide us over until the move could complete.
We had many questions and queries and he dealt with everything so quickly and efficiently, providing advice that really helped us when we needed it most.
Matt and the whole team at JLM are incredible and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for mortgage advice whether that's just hunting for a new deal or going through the conveyancing process.
