Super quick response and home visit having reviewed my online advice request form.
Honest appraisal of the work required and the fee.
Totally professional, really polite, quick, efficient...and I’ve now got a working lock and useable front door again.

So the good points. The chap in the shop was friendly and they had the upvc gearbox I needed in stock....so far so good. The problem is the prices! My word £50 for a generic gearbox which I later found for £15 online. An equivalent Yale or ERA box was still only £25 with free delivery. I get that the overheads are higher in a shop and I wouldn't be writing this if I'd been charged £30 but £50 is taking advantage knowing full well my 80 year old mother's home security was compromised. I shan't be returning.

The most unhelpful locksmith I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. My mum and dad were locked out of their house, literally across the road from his premises. Less than a minute walk. He had closed for the day but was talking to someone outside of his shop. Was not interested in helping and recommended someone else. When I asked for their telephone number he muttered that he would have to open up his shop to get the number, and he wouldn't. This guy should retire as he is out of touch and is rude and unhelpful. He is expensive too as have used him in the past and hates it when you ask to pay by card. Avoid this man at all costs. Vile.

Really rude and patronising service - it’s not often you want to walk out within 30 seconds of speaking to someone having made simple request to copy some keys. I’m also fairly sure the card machine was working fine, but was told it was broken when I asked to make payment that way. I went to Timpsons instead - they were polite and helpful.

Excellent service, very knowledgeable and helpful. I was able to get a spare key for my vw which they ordered especially. Once cut and chipped it worked first time. Although pricey at a £75 this is cheaper than a vw dealer. It is worth paying for a good service as I had originally gone to timpsons for the spare and paid £35 for a complete botch up and ultimately a key that did not work. I would recomend this business.

Unpleasant, rude and unhelpful. No response from the member of staff when I greeted him with a 'good morning' and no response to 'goodbye' either. He couldn't really be bothered and looked annoyed at payment by card (which I opted for since he'd been so unpleasant).

Got a Double set of keys cut for front door & porch. Only one of the two keys worked... taken back to shop & altered. Second attempt, still not working. Decided to go to Timpson where I should have gone in the first place. Tried to support this local business but found them unpleasant and not very forthcoming with advice. Won't be returning :0(

Very helpful, came to sort out my Nana's door while she was in hospital. Was very understanding when it turned out we were just using the wrong key. Would definitely recommend for a friendly visit!
