After a competitive pitch we decided to engage Jude Read and her associates as our retained HR consultants. Working alongside me as one of my senior team, Jude has quickly got to know the business and our ways of working. As Operations Director at an SME I am responsible for a warehouse team of almost 100 working over four shifts including weekends and evenings as well as a back office and call centre staff of around 40. With lots of varied roles and lots of long term employees, we need Jude’s up-to-date knowledge of the ever-changing world of employment legislation as well as her common-sense, no fuss approach to problem resolution. Working with Jude ensures we don’t make expensive mistakes but nor do we avoid facing up to employment issues when we need to.
