Kev has just opened a suitcase that has been closed for 50 years. Great service! Can’t thank him enough. We found a Herald Express from 1953 inside.

Kevin is a Star. Brought into your shop the lock from my father's Engineer's Tool Chest that I was restoring (had been lost for over 50 years). He made from scratch a new key and refurbished the lock (which I hadn't asked for). I now have a fully functioning memory that is over 60 years old. Thank you.

Popped into the shop for some advice on a car key, previously called and spoke to Charlie, who offered a free check of the key, as my car wouldn’t start. Was met by Kevin, lovely bloke, friendly, very helpful and advised I would need to contact another business to help. I had my 3 year old daughter with me at the time, and Kevin even gave her a cuddle toy - which I thought was a lovely gesture. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Businesses like this are worth their weight in gold! I contacted several locksmiths to see if they could cut a key from a lock alone - I have just bought an old car with no keys. Most were not remotely interested and some said it was not possible! The guys at ‘keys and locks’ were able to identify the key I needed and then cut them which has meant the original locks on the car don’t need to be replaced. Being a perfectionist meant that he spent some time cutting the keys to make sure they worked as well as they could and I’m over the moon! These guys have a wealth of experience between them and clearly love what they do. Skills and knowledge like this are slowly disappearing - avoid the soulless chains and stick with independent businesses like these. Many thanks.
