Avoid at all costs. We had an engineer service our alarm when he left within 20 minutes we started receiving automated phone calls saying our alarm had activated even though we were open and it wasn't set. We called the engineer back and he said the aerial needed moving and there would be no charge. We then received a bill for the engineer and the aerial move. We disputed both charges as the fault did not exist before the engineers visit. The phone calls continued at least twice a day included 5.00am on one occasion. Some weeks later an engineer arrived uninvited said the 1st engineer should have installed an update, this was done and the phone calls stopped. We were then billed for this call out as well. We have since had letters from a debt collection company. This is despite receiving an email saying both charges had been withdrawn. I wouldn't trust this company again.

You'd be better off, safer and save more money leaving your valuables outside your house or office for people to take at their will. Their system never works and every time they come to fix it they will charge an enormous sum. Avoid at all costs. Leave your valuables outside instead.

If you're considering using this security companyโ€”stop right now and save yourself money, stress, and regret. This has genuinely been one of the worst product experiences I've ever had. The alarm system is shockingly unreliable, losing signal at least every five days without fail. Each time it happens, you're forced into paying an exorbitant fee for their technicians to come and temporarily patch the issue. It feels less like security and more like extortion.

Customer service? Terrible. The charges they slap onto every fix are obscene, and the initial investment was so high that it's genuinely gutting I've stuck around this long. I feel trapped by the sheer cost of it all.

This company is wildly overpriced, appallingly managed, and fundamentally flawed in the service it promises to provide. I'm counting down the days until I move and can finally escape this ongoing nightmare. Avoid at all costs.

Kings acquired our existing intruder and fire alarm company and we've had a very poor experience since then.

They even messed up when we changed provider, as they didn't tell the monitoring company to stop monitoring which triggered false alarms over the weekend.

We have been very loyal customers of this company for 40yrs both at business and home. In the days the business was family run by Jim King
it was First Class.
18months ago I was advised by a salesman that our WIRED system which they had fitted at build could fault anytime. Acting on his advice we changed to a WIRELESS system. We were then given Neutral advise which contradicted that provided by the Kings Salesman which had us insist that we returned to the WIRED system we had previously had fitted with NO ISSUES.
The work was carried out last January. The only favourable comment I have to make is that in all the years we have dealt with this Company the engineers have been FIRST CLASS.
Yesterday I received our first years renewal premium for service charges and was ALARMED ( excuse the Pun) to find that this had doubled and we were informed that we would need to agree to stay with the Company for the next 3 years.
SORRY KINGS THIS IS WHERE WE PART COMPANY just like quite a few of your workforce did last year.
There is No consideration for Loyalty anymore.

I was supposed to leave work at 6, it's now almost 10 and i am still waiting for an engineer to call so the alarm can be set, I have work again in the morning and need to get home. Its a good job i don't have kids depending on me and nobody has tried to break in with me here by myself.

I called Kings to ask a couple of questions about my shop alarm system. I was told this information would be chargeable at ยฃ25 + VAT!!
This is quite unbelievable having been a customer for over ten years you would think I would get better customer service.....I think it is time to look for another alarm provider.

I have been dealing with Kings Security over several years and from the engineers and sales personnel all the way to upper management have found them all to be driven, courteous, respectful and a pleasure to engage with on a regular basis. Kings deserves the success it has seen over the last few years and long may it last!
