There was a fire in the flat next door to ours 25th May this year. They taking an irresponsible amount of time to help and there is still soot contaminating the communal areas and our individually owned flats. Nearly three weeks later all they have actually done is rip up the carpets, leaving behind clumps of underlay which stink and roughly clean the communal areas. Air scrubbers have been provided, but the loss adjuster himself said he’s not convinced they work. No action has been taken to prevent recontamination or to prevent the remaining residents from breathing in harmful residue. This company is linked to first port, so no real shock here.
