We had an opportunity to buy our house but without the typical, perfect first time buyers profile, we knew we would struggle obtaining a mortgage. I am working part time, my husband is self employed, we have 5 children and my credit history is far from pristine. Both Chris and Meghan were very honest with our options, helped us take the steps needed to improve our credit rating, worked tirelessly to get us the mortgage that we needed and always kept us updated with regular phone calls and emails. They really did make our dream of owning our own house a reality when they secured us a mortgage offer, which has now resulted in completion. My case was pretty complicated as my husband is not a UK citizen and we have been living abroad for years so some of our paper trail was difficult to put together but Lincoln Money Man were very helpful and patient throughout the process and gave us advice when needed. They went through a lot of mortgage companies to find the right one for our personal circumstances, I really felt bad at times for causing them so much work. As mortgages and moving is inherently stressful, it was important to me that there was always good communication about what was going on behind the scenes and I heard from Lincoln Money Man several times per week with updates and so on which really helped me not worry too much and plan for things accordingly. I think the fee charged is really good value when I consider all the work they have done. Highly recommend.

A very professional service. Managed to secure a very good mortgage thanks to Malcolm and his team. Very helpful staff throughout. I felt like all pressure was taken off due to their expertise which allowed me to focus on other matters to do with the property purchase.
