My wife and I experienced a fire to our home in early May of 2022. After having several "Vulture" adjuster companies contact me claiming how great they were and how they would be able to help (one even pretending to represent my insurance company and pushing at me the night of the fire while I was still processing) I realized that I would need to find a public adjuster on my own. After searching google and reading a few reviews I found Lioness Claims and boy am I happy I did. Before even saying she would take us on as clients Peggy was extremely helpful in reviewing all of my policy documents and explaining to me what each of the sections within covered, what my policy limits were etc. She then spoke for quite awhile with my wife and I about what the process we would be going through would be like and explained everything in such a way that it was easy to understand. It brought us a lot of peace of mind and we signed on with her shortly after.
Signing was probably the single best thing we did after our fire. Peggy has been working with us for over 2 years now to get our claim settled and has been a great sounding board through frustrations and hardships. When our first contractor ended up stealing funds through falsified documents Peggy was able to help determine where they were double charging and take that to the insurance company for re-imbursement. Not only that but she has always been there whenever we have called even if it were late at night and has never once said, "No I won't make that call for you." if ever we asked. She has spent countless hours dealing with stubborn insurance desk adjusters, mortgage claim management "specialists" and a plethora of other terrible people who I would have had to deal with otherwise. This relief of stress alone made hiring Lioness Claims worth it. The fact that Peggy and her husband both care so much shows. While dealing with my claim my parents had an issue with the county damaging their home and Peggy even offered to make a few calls to some contacts she knows in order to assist them - even though they had not hired her. This is outstanding service and though I hope I never have to go through something like this again, and would never wish it on anyone else, I will wholeheartedly recommend Lioness claims and Peggy for any and all of your insurance claim needs as they really care and value their clients and you can rest assured that you are going to have a public adjuster who will always go to bat for you and make sure that you are not cheated and that the insurance company pays every dime you are owed.

I have known Peggy at Lioness Claims now for over three years. She came to me at a time I was in a complex insurance quagmire and immediately set my mind at ease. When it was finally all said and done, I came out ahead. I have dealt with public adjusters in the past, but Peggy stands out as a highly-trained and consummate professional in this specialized field where we, as insureds, are at the mercy of insurance companies that do not always have our best interests at heart. Goes without saying that I would recommend her highly to anyone with a sizeable property claim.

Just spoke with her about my situation after getting denied coverages from my renter's insurance. She provided me detailed step by step instructions on how to get coverages from the renter's insurance on the phone for FREE... she told me that I don't need to hire her, because it will have to come out of my pocket and she doesn't want me to do that.. wow!... thank God people like herself exist in this world! The Serengeti of less than honest contractors and their insurance cronies, LIONESS navigated my family through the trying times of fire ?, long untimely work delays and excuses. She clawed her way past the unfriendlyness of moralless of both. Privileged to call a dear friend ?. If you want a champion in your corner call Peggy. I had been fighting for months to resolve a water damage claim. The only such claim I’d had in my life, even though I’ve had multiple properties and several rental properties over the last decade.
The tale is too long to tell. Suffice it to say, the walls were closing in. The insurance company refused to honor the multiple bids to restore my property that they requested I seek. Their in-house contractor’s proposal was so laughable, that after I acquiesced and said “just do it” the contractor was too busy, yet the threat to cut of my loss of income did not stop. That’s when I reached out to Peggy, who in days had the claim settled for more than any of the claims I had previously provided. She completely took the stress off of me. She got right past all the people who are paid to say “no”, pushed my claim to their top management and got a quick settlement.
I am not a lightweight and was still exhausted by the process. What I could not get done in six months Peggy did in a week. Having a settlement in a week may not be everyone’s experience but clearly it happened to me. After you meet Peggy, her credentials and experience will give you comfort. As nice as she is, is as tough as she can be. Had I known Peggy before the 6 months of torture, I’d have handed the headache off to her immediately……

As a contractor, I recommend the involvement of a public adjustor for process of an insurance claim, and I've had no better experience and results than with Lioness Claims, LLC. Peggy Martin not only runs a tight organization there, but really has in depth experience with preparing a claim and the construction process to restore. I had a customer being offered $14,000. to restore her flood incident... Could not be done. Peggy Martin and her team came in and made sure all damages were accounted for and funded to properly restore including damaged furniture. That $14,000. offer turned into a $56,000. claim for a proper restoration. Highly recommend Lioness Claims, LLC.
